- In this short video showcasing the versatility of the Joyo/Harley Benton American Sound pedal.
This pedal is designed to emulate the sound of classic American amplifiers,
such as Fender Bassman, Princeton, Twin Reverb, Blues deluxe... It's not just a great tool for live performances, but also a secret weapon for direct recording.
I'll be demonstrating three different sounds that you can achieve with this pedal,
whether you're looking for clean sound, classic rock/blues, hard rock or metal tone.
The Joyo American Sound offers a wide range of American-style distortion tones,
with its three-band EQ.
It's a great option for anyone looking to add some vintage American-style vibes to their sound without breaking the bank,
and use it to achieve studio-quality sound in your direct recording.
N.B. i added some TSAR-1R reverb from softube in the middle part

Thanks! Direct to the point!
Oh yeah!!! 👍👍
Best budget pedal ever, I bought two….
I don't use it often, yet It baffles me each time as a D.I.
I did too! One for my Harmonica rig and one for my guitar.
Also bought two DI boxes to run them through. Can't wait til my next gig to try it all out!
you rock!
Thank you :)
This is the only pedal I own that I believe is worth more than they charge for it. Every other pedal is overpriced compared to this one. I use it is the Fx loop of my Peavey amp and it really helps me to create some good tones.
May i know what the connections are from guitar to the amp?
@@alexisquiliza2468
I plug the guitar into about 3-4 pedals - usually tuner, distortion, delay or reverb, and compressor - and then into the amp where Joyo is in the effects loop. A patch cord goes from the Joyo input slot to the send slot on the amp, and another patch cord goes from the Joyo output slot to the return slot on the amp. Sometimes I just plug directly into the Joyo to bypass the preamp on the amp and that signal still goes from the Joyo output to the return slot on the amp.
The American has some reverb unlike the British?
No. The reverb is added in software, it's in the description iirc
You go in as line or instr signal? Thanks
I believe inst was toggle on, but i'm sure there is enough volume output from the pedal for line also
@@ja-lx many thanks
Worst sounding pedal I ever bought! I threw it in the garbage! Its noisy and sucks!
Woundn't say it's the best, but i thinks it's good. The unit i have isn't more noiser than any overdrive i have tho, maybe yours was broken?
@@ja-lx I was trying to use it with a 76 Fender pro reverb and it just didn't work together.
shouldn't be noisy that all, thats the bad from this kind of cheap pedal, you're unit might be fucked for whatever reason.
