The Traveler HTC (Hospital Transport Chair) is an all-in-one wheelchair that features components to assist in theft prevention and attendant/clinician control. The long-lasting hammertone finished frame with saddle-joint tubular construction and a double crossbrace, allow a maximum weight capacity 500 lb -EVENLY DISTRIBUTED. To enforce patient control protocols, it incorporates a rear wheel lock for an exclusive attendant control. Instead of handgrips, the HTC features a standard staff push handle bar making transport easier for the caregiver, nurse/medical staff, as it offers a broader angle and hold. This push handle also acts as an anti-fold bar, complicating theft. To fulfill hospital transportation and clinical needs, the HTC now comes standard with a telescoping IV Pole and O2 holder that can be installed as permanent, if preferred. The HTC incorporates a tool-free adjustable swingaway front rigging with durable aluminum black footplates for heavy duty use. Anti-theft nuts are installed on each elevating legrest to prevent removal or misplacement.The embossed easy-clean vinyl/leatherette back with standard chart pocket and the seat with a double inner liner for durability and support, facilitate infection control enhancing long lasting upholstery. To comply with exit and transport protocols, the HTC is designed to prevent tipping at incorporating standard anti-tippers. These accessories are all encompassed in one box, increasing efficiency at the moment of purchase, delivery and set-up. The HTC is available in 20", 22" and 24" seat widths with 18" seat depth (1" longer than standard to accommodate taller patients). It is available in desk and full length vinyl padded arms for enhanced patient comfort and infection control.
