Don’t TURN your OUTBOARDS when splitting the sticks

The reason behind this is told here, it’s just not as effective as having straight engines. I don’t usually split the sticks with an outboard as I dock because it is just not as effective as steering and using one engine at a time, ESPECIALLY in rough weather.

If you have two engines, to split the sticks you will put one engine in forward and one in reverse. Does this answer your question?
