Yeah that was a good one, almost as good as the lawyer who got arrested on a traffic stop because she refused to answer any questions, she confirmed thats why she was being arrested, because she was remaining silen, then immeditely the cop read her the Miranda rights which obviously begin with "you have the right to remain silent". I wonder if in that exact moment he knew he had seriously messed up.

That second officer not only uncovering his badge where something had covered it, but also verbally stating his badge number without even being asked made my day. Don't see that kind of thing in these videos often.

a call does not rise to the level of probable cause, thats the supreme courts wording.
Every time I hear a cop say we are one of the biggest supporters of the constitution, I see the opposite. If George didn’t know his rights they would have violated every right he has.
The scary part is they sit in meetings and they are taught this after taking and oath not to violate our rights.

"we got a phone call" is when you call the non emergency line and tell them "I am surrounded by four men with guns and I need help" to prove what a phone call is worth.

The problem is that the courts have been the primary agent in permitting the police to avoid any real direct consequences for their actions.
The courts created the doctrine of Qualified Immunity. Then they applied it in such a way that it protects cops in almost every situation.
The courts have permitted the police to lie, deceive, and bully anyone with impunity.
They have interpreted resisting arrest, reasonable suspicion, and what police behavior is allowed under the fourth and fifth amendment to the point that these rights are in danger of being non-existent.
The Cops seem to be the ones breaking the law here.

The Supreme Court has ruled that the police have no duty to protect anyone therefore they do not have to respond to any calls whatsoever.

"Reasonable suspicion of a crime." I have noticed that cops, more times than not, can't ever tell what crime because they know that there isn't a crime.
Sometimes cops will acknowledge the "reasonable articulable suspicion" part but forget about the "of a crime" part. One has to wonder if they they deliberately leave out the "of a crime" part during academy training.

They press on certain people when they're close to release or being discharged from probation. There's counties that say you can't get off probation till you pay all your restitution, which is illegal and against people's rights.

Yeah, LEOs often quote "reasonable suspicion" but rarely "a crime." I love PA. No ID law. They can't force ID at any time.
Would like to see someone on camera ask the police if they can verify that there was a 911 phone call recorded to dispatch, a radio call place by their dispatch that's recorded and information on the CAD about the people they "get a call" about. That's admissible in court.

Yes, know your Rights, but what I do not understand why it took 4 Cops to come out for this One Man! They have nothing to do?
The sad fact is, cops CAN, but are not suppose to, break any rule they want to, make you do something you know isn't right and can make you fight in court to prove you were correct and they were incorrect. If you are even allowed to or have the opportunity to try or able to prove you are correct. The idea that it can all go the wrong way using all the correct methods of doing the right thing is a terrible reality.

Ending qualified immunity would do wonders. Make each officer carry insurance just like doctors. Don't have the public pay for their mistakes.

The fact this officer tries to justify his actions by saying they just want to know who he is so if they get more calls they can say he's ok is an excellent example of what is wrong with the state of policing. It shows they don't investigate crimes, they investigate people. If you get more calles tell them the activity is legal.
That was refreshing. Police who aren't afraid of being educated. It takes a good leader to allow a bit of embarrassment, admittance and willing to learn.
Glad these servents didn't escalate like usual. They are doing their job responding to a call. Of course they are gonna attempt to ID. This is exactly why it is so important for people to know their rights and exercise them. You should never feel scared to exercise your rights....
