    This is perfect. I just stumbled on this method when I found Reading Simplified about a year ago. My daughter is a struggling reader and did well until we got to the point of blending letters. We struggled with it for much longer than we needed to. Luckily she is making great progress now and using this method has enabled her younger brother to breeze through the early stages of learning to read.

      Thanks for sharing your story! I think that successive blending works really well because it makes it so kids have fewer sounds to remember at a time. I'm glad things are going well for your daughter and son!

    This is what my daughter struggles with. She knows all the sounds, but holding memory is not good. Going to practice this more

      I'm so glad this was helpful! Memory is definitely a challenge for many kids when they are first learning to blend letter sounds.

    I tried this technique to my student who is 4 years old. I tried doing 2 letters but as of now, he can't still blend. Huhu. I hope it can work for other days to come. :)

    It’s just working she can’t blend at all ! Not even the first sounds
