It worked to a certain extent. I just loosened that pin a bit, and came with my multitool and cut the pin.

Edit: I tried it (in the changing rooms of the shop) snuck in a fork in my pocket that I stole from a café next door. Spent a suspicious amount of minutes in there tryna take the tag off, didn’t work.

Rubber bands work too. Start by wrapping the band in between the two pieces and then start twisting the two sensor pieces and it will wind up the band and the pressure will start to push the two pieces of the sensor apart.

You do realize with the other security tags in the background you use a 200 pull magnet and they come off smoothly I’ve done this before and it works

Unfortunately I bought something from Jc Pennys and they forgot to take off the security tag BUT it is one of those ink ones and I have no idea what to do with it. I really love the shirt but I threw out the receipt before realizing that it was still on the shirt. So now it is just sitting in my closet and I can’t take it back or do anything with it.
Lite the back of it on fire the side without the writing wait for the spring to pop out by melteding the plastic it’ll pop off

That destroyed the clothes. Better go back with the receipt and ask them to remvoe it.

You did not put the bottom piece of the tag correctly
This didn’t work for me. Instead do the first step with the fork then push down on the thin tab looking part till it separates then stick in a the second fork and brake puff the top. Remove the old fork and push black thing forward so wider part is on pin. Pull off black thing with way of choice then stick in old fork where it was originally and pry it out

I broke the ink tag, good thing the pants were black
I’ve done it multiple times using a lighter and knife. Use the lighter to heat the little circle bubbled out part of the tag then it should belt off cause it’s hollow inside. After that it exposes the pin & you can just grab that with your fingers and the alarm doesn’t go off & neither did any of the ink.
Tried it and it works but I find a nice high-powered magnet works way faster less then a second..lol
I tried this the long part snapped off but the little bump still was there but I removed it with pliers so it works to a certain level
Got a baby top and shop didnt take tag off. So found this video. Took me 2 folks and a pair of plires. Folks only pulled pin half way. Used pliers to get the rest out.

Your not telling people what kind of spoons your using. Normal forks can do it but will damage your clothes
