Sure, you can use it. I was just testing my new 360 camera and the accident happened to my left while I was looking forward. this clip is a demonstration of how you can go into your 360 video file and reposition the camera view to see anything around you afterward. I was able to see the cars appear behind me, turn the corner, and then the accident happened. The occupants of both vehicles did not stop, maybe because they made a snap decision that it was too minor for the insurance hassle, or because they were scared to confront one another.
