Cleo is so cute! 😭😍 Honest to goodness, I made my kitten "sleep" in her own room for the first 6 months until she actually slept through the night because she wanted to play all night. Now she and my dog sleep through the night on top of me 🤣
Yeah I might need to get a second litter box so that I can lock her out of my room until she gets on a normal sleep schedule 😂

Reverse Diet Question: I wear a Fitbit and it automatically adds calories to MyFitnessPal for activity. I’m sure it’s not perfectly accurate. How do you make sure this doesn’t affect your reverse diet?

Tracking has been such a helpful tool for me.I don’t use it all the time, but when I need to re-adjust my mindset. I agree that it may not be the best idea for some, but for me it really opened my eyes to my eating patterns. When I am eating highly processed foods, I can eat an insane amount of calories and still not feel satisfied. When I’m focusing on whole foods and getting enough protein, I find myself being very satiated and even full, even on a slight calorie deficit. Besides the obvious that the less processed diet is more nutritious , it is interesting to see how much more satiated I am without a huge surplus of calories with highly processed foods

I'd love a video that includes sleep tips when you have a kitten/energetic cat if you ever figure out that balance; my cat gets the zoomies and likes to play in his litter box for hours at 3am, and if I sleep in a different room he'll scream at the door, so that isn't a solution 😅

I really need your help! I havent been working out or tracking my calories the past couple of weeks. I started back working out Monday but I dont know if I should stay in my maintenance or my deficit at this point.
Oh how cute 😍 my two boys actually have there own bedroom so I can sleep through the night 😆 I didn't want a kitten as they do claw everything so we adopted a male and female blue Russian both 5 years old but what we didn't know was she was pregnant with 5 kittens one of which we kept 🙈 safe to say we need a new sofa now 😆

Stanger Things is awesome. I have almost watched all of the new season. As far as reverse dieting, couldn't you easily add some MCT oil? It seems like an easy way to add calories. I am just surprised that someone your size can eat that many calories a day. I have a hard time eating that and to say that I am bigger than you is an understatement.

I know the stress of constantly thinking about food , that's what I've been doing lately stressing about which foods are going to strengthen my bones, worried about oxalates and phytates, can I eat this with that can I eat that with this, what can I eat to not only strengthen my bones but build muscle is well,, should I cut this out of my diet should I add this to my diet, it gets so overwhelming! But I definitely am so glad about the message of "listen to your body" when I first started getting into health fitness back in the early 2000s around that time The biggest loser show was popular and it was all about "push yourself to the point of passing out", "if you're tired it doesn't matter get up and exercise". , "If you don't feel well get up and exercise anyway". So harsh and that old school message really harmed me later in my life where I'm at currently today, torturing your body when it's young will affect you later in life I'm so glad that old school fitness message is gone! I'm always going to love fitness and nutrition but now I have to implement some TLC as well heal my body from the inside and outside from all the mistakes of the past ❤️💪🏻❤️🙏🏻

There were times where I almost passed out and I kept telling myself no pain no gain, and every morning when I woke up it was always I have to eat less and move more,, it makes me so upset that I did this to myself but at the same time I can't really blame myself because that's just the message of back then but I'm so happy now we have wonderful healthy information on how to get the bodies we want achieve aesthetic goals while also getting healthy and strong ❤️💪🏻❤️

is it possible to become more muscular by continuing the exercises I enjoy - dancing?
cause I go to the gym, and I don't find pumping iron as interesting as sweating into my eyes while dancing. I do different kinds of dance, and I've noticed that my legs definitely have gotten the memo, but, is it possible to become muscular like you with dancing and some periodic lifting at the gym?

Is it easier to stay consistent with morning vs evening cardio?
Like, for me personally? I don't do cardio haha. I can't be consistent with it no matter what time of day I do it because I thoroughly despise it lmaooo
Do you track everything? Like do you also measure and track your veggies and everything or do you consider veggies as ‘free foods’ like I’ve heard a few dieticians refer to it? I’m interested in starting a reverse diet but I’m not sure how precise I would need to be to see the results I’m aiming for
Depends on what my goals are! During my cut I tracked everything. During my reverse diet I tracked everything but didn't necessarily weigh/measure everything to the gram. On my reverse diet, tracking everything made it EASIER because I felt so full that logging an extra 50-100 calories of vegetables for the day made it easier to reach my calorie goals than if I didn't log them haha. You can be as precise as you want to be while tracking. But your precision of tracking will correlate with the precision of your results. The more scared of fat gain you are, the more I'd recommend being more precise tracking
Don’t mind me, just writing comment #3… One of my friends is in a reverse diet program where they periodically bring her down to 1200 calories for a week or two to ‘reset the metabolism.’ What are you resetting it from? It’s already set at the number of calories you’re at. Those buzz words drive me nuts but am wondering what your take is on that.
Without more context, I can't think of a single reason to do that on a reverse diet. Like... that completely defeats the purpose. That makes literally zero sense lol
I’m a Fit and Nerdy follower so I was shocked to hear it. 😆😆 Then I had to apologize about being a downer on it because she’s excited about the program. People in this position though will more than likely fail with these huge restrictions and don’t realize it’s not them, it’s the diet.
To solve the kitten always attacking us, we just got a second cat. 🤷♀️ but, that has its own pros and cons

If I got injured, I'd just eat intuitively and rest until I can train agian

@@louisesmith3827 I can't really give you good advice here without knowing more. You can track if you want. You can stay in a deficit if you want--or you can eat at maintenance if you want--but these numbers will just be lower without exercise. But also idk what your maintenance is or how long you've been training, etc which would all make a difference for what I actually recommend. I wish I could track without thinking about food and numbers all day but I can’t 🥲 this year I’ve just been focused on eating daily and even that’s hard when my depression comes back I’m bi polar soo when I’m in my mania I feel soo good workout regularly go out with friends and just feel amazing but when the lows come back I either binge on crap food or don’t eat anything at all 😕 it’s really hard to eat good nutritious food and reach any aesthetic goals when my life is a constant roller coaster of emotions lol but I’ve been eating and I’m my heaviest ever 165 just wish I was tighter and could tone up lol whatever that means I don’t look “fat” because I’m tall but do you think reverse dieting would work for someone as crazy as me?
Honestly I think you'll get the most benefit from focusing on your mental health. Idk what you've done in that department but if you haven't seen a therapist, you'll probably get more out of that than you will out of reverse dieting.

Learn from my mistakes get another kitten so she has someone to play with. I know that sounds like a lot but I recently got another kitten because I felt my cat was depressed and needed a friend…well apparently the age gap is too big. She hates him. Getting kittens in pairs is best.

I’ve just binged your vids and I must say it’s disappointment. Women like you demonize cardio so much at the expense of what? So we should minimize cardio all to for muscle gain at the expense of cardiovascular health? You lot who merely lift can’t even run for 45 consecutive minutes. But those who find a balance between both get to reap the benefits of a healthy heart and an amazing amount of muscle mass. Stop demonizing cardio. It doesn’t slow down your muscle growth in any way. Y’all need to watch Thomas DeLauer explain( with scientific evidence) how cardio actually helps with muscle hypertrophy. In fact, his video includes studies that were done in actual humans for a few weeks and those who did cardio had an extra 9% increase in muscle hypertrophy as compared to those who lifted without involving cardio in their routines. Point is, do what works for you and stay away from such fitness gurus who demonize exercises or any form of lifestyle that’s actually very good for your cardiovascular health
