  • Here is yet another video from our Ninja Foodi Max 15-1, this time we are showing how we make the perfect takeaway egg fried rice.
    This recipe can be easily adapted to a sauce pan & frying pan - you don't need a Ninja Foodi Max.

    Looking forward to more videos.
    Rice is so simple:
    In a casserole dish with a glass lid: 1 cup rice, 2 cups water after rinsing. 1 teaspoon salt, stir with fingers. 1 tablespoon butter dropped on top. Put lid on. Microwave 5 minutes high power. 15 minutes half power. Perfect every time.
    We have a Plastic container made for rice. The Container I have is from Walmart and is a “rice cooker” holds 6 cups total. Key is to boil rice so membrane absorbs water. So 5 minutes high power does this for one cup of rice. Same concept for bigger pots and more rice. Full power for longer to get the boil before going to half power.
    In the US I don’t wash rice, so if it’s too wet cook it longer or less water .
    I technically I just do: rice, water, salt, swish, butter, into microwave.

    I love the graphics, very informative. I’d like them to stay on the screen longer. I am rewinding almost every time to read them. Thanks!

    You stated that you use 1/2 a tea spoon of MSG & salt but the measurements you used look a lot bigger, was it supposed to be table spoons?

      I can’t find it. I think 15 might refer to warming. But is not on the box. Ninja web site says 14. Idk

      It’s OL 701 in USA; 14-1;
      OL 750 15-1 in UK. Ninja website in US and Ninja website in UK have them respectively.

    Thanks for sharing the recipe. I know you're not asking for advice and I hope you dont think Im being rude but it took 7 minutes of talking before you actually got to the method. Maybe mention all those relevant points as you're cooking?

      Monosodium glutamate (MSG) is a flavor enhancer often added to restaurant foods, canned vegetables, soups, deli meats and other foods.
