This game is definitely setting up a “Cold War” universe within the “Black Ops” universe. Canonically there’s still 4 years between the end of Cold War and the beginning of the flashback levels in BOII, and that’s not to say they couldn’t have more levels filling in the time between the flashback levels in BOII
They could also just forget BO2 existed at all. This could still be a sequel to BO1 but also still be a reboot of the series. I think that would be amazing in my opinion. Not that BO2s story was terrible but I think it could be so much better.

Dude Zanny cheers me up so much it’s crazy, I use his videos as background noise to sleep because quietness makes my anxiety flair, and I get lost in his videos, since he plays only games that I play, when he makes inside jokes I actually feel involved, and since i’ve been here for like 3 years it genuinely feels like I am following with Zanny, one of my many inspirations to do youtube, I hope I get a friend group like Zanny has, keep going i’m sure you’ll only grow from here i’ll try to be every step of the way

@I yeah, but all of my friends always get the cod games so I usually do as well (the only exceptions are IW, BO4, and MW 2019 because they’re just too cancerous) so I don’t really see a reason why not to play the campaigns. They’re usually dumb fun for a couple of hours with an occasional game that has a good story and/or gameplay
@I also dark souls, titanfall 2, and persona 4 were all developed in 2 years whereas cod games now are developed in 3 so that’s not a good example
