Vince, I appreciate your videos. They are a big help to me in maintaining my classic ski boat. Also, Thanks for all the help over the phone. Keep up the good work!
If the hand is your way to roll put a sponge behind the paper, use your palm. No finger scratches, same way as sanding a vehicle for paint prep.
Do you see the sandpaper scratching at all??
That's like the 1st model of Mastercraft. I know the 1st one made personally but the reason I wanted to say, you could have just used compound and avoided the sanding altogether.
I also have that big buffer. I had it polished up and it hangs in my shop now, classic machine. Still have the wood handle?
The 1st models had a rounded windshield! This one is the 90s absolutely gorgeous
Hi there, what RPM on buffer you like and what pads you using? Also, what compound is best. TYIA
Hi Vince, can you please share what type of polishing bonnet (wool, blend, etc.) you use or recommend on the buffer? Thanks again.
There is usually a specific bonnet for rubbing compound and one for polishing.
Does it stay like that? or after time does it fade away ?
Anytime after buffing if you keep a wax finish on it, it will help stop the fading. Keeping it out of the sun is the most important part to prevent fading.
3M are the only products I use anymore. Everything else seems to have been purchased by other companies and watered down.
The machine is having a mental breakdown buddy
LMAO…..
Ted, shut your face. You hate on everyone but you take a week to do a boat. I do 2 in a day. STFD bad kid.
