I wish he would have asked, “How is my ID going to help determine if a crime has been committed”. This is an older video but one of my favorites. He made that cop look like an absolute jackass. Although he didn’t need a ton of help in that department.

Police must have REASONABLE AND BE ABLE TO ARTICULATE SUSPICION ! They can not ask for ID and then try to figure out if a photographer has first amendment rights in public or not!!

He’s so eager for the citizen to understand what he’s saying. Yet if he, himself, had taken time understand then there wouldn’t be the need for this interaction. It must suck to go to work and a new stranger everyday has to explain your job responsibilities to you.
