The only thing missing was you riding Moto on the beach (Park) and in the Dunes, to the south of town. That's Literally the ONLY PLACE in Cali, that you can drive on the beach, legally (without an Exempt plate) - which is pretty bogus.
It sucks that they do that contest at Pismo... There's sick waves to the North, a bit. I'm pretty sure I've seen Kelly Slater, complaining on video about how lame that spot is - and how hard it is to surf (well).
Everyone does the same factory turns...good on you for bringing some persoanlity to the tour now that cocaine is gone. Peace.

I really hope Austin Newman took you for lunch at the World Famous Jocko's Steak House in Nipomo. The seating arrangements are nothing special and fancy you eat a great Spencer or Filet Steak and meet new people because it's family style seating but its my all time Favorite Steak 🥩🥩🥩 also its been featured in a ton of Food Channel and Food Reviews World Wide. Watching them all now. Fun one Zeke. Enjoyed the behind the scenes of the QS. I get the fun of youth. Been there. Also get the necessary structure of the WSL. Good on you to push the boundaries and then acknowledge at some level judges have to follow the rules. Funs stuff. We use to jump of the Daytona Beach pier every morning for our lifeguard swim workout. Can't do that anywhere these days on the east coast although you are giving me ideas at least in the winter when no one is watching. Last week we had a rough paddle out and the pier would have been great. Don't take this wrong, but I have a friend who has a child going through a rough gender identity issue. May be more tough on my buddy as the Dad. I'm learning from this connection that these flippant uses of "I identify as" or smears on transgender youth are not helpful. I see it in our local group too so much be common among cohorts of young surfers. I'd be right in there a few years back, but see this more seriously now. I'm trying to change this attitude now in our local.

I remember seeing Austin Neumann warm up for a contest at Pismo pier parking lot on a skateboard back in like 2011 2012 time frame. He was just a grom. I remember thinking this grom is going to rip. A couple of my buddies were in the contest as well one of them was in the same age category I think. Sick to see he’s advanced so much 🤙🏼

Hey I’m an old man, and I think the WSL has a stick up their butt. Everything is an evolution, if you stay the same you will die. Jake is a roll model even to me a 60 yr old broken old dude, that still is moving forward.

“I miss the air shows” wdym wsl is literally just a air reverse competition now, they get higher scores than deep tubes and power hacks, even switching finals from pipeline to lowers so it comes down to whoever can do most air reverse on 3 foot wave
