    Great review. I have an AFC model but i prefer using it with a bag. The manual indicates that with a bag AFC must be switched off, however it still goes on automatically, and has to be manually switched on on every restart of the machine. Anybody know a way to permanently switch off AFC?

    I need to know, do you need to use a dust-bag/bag to use it? or can you use it without bags just like a normal Bagless Vacuum Cleaners?

      Hi, these can be used without a bag if required. In fact since they're wet & dry vacs, if you're using them to suck liquid then they must be used without a bag.

    I have had the GAS 35 M AFC for 2 years now and it's absolute junk! It barely sucks at all and when cutting hardwoods which make fine dust it clogs up almost immediately. The AFC also decides to stop working after a while without the filter being clogged or the vacuum being full.

      What did you buy instead?

      @@kgp43 So far, haven't found anything else, I use the high CFM chip extractor with a fine filter attachment where I can, like the table saw but for smaller tools I still use this

      If filter gets clogged, any rocket science vac would slow down. Its simple science, genius. Air is supposed to be able to move through the filter!

    • @LiorMark
      @LiorMark Před 3 lety

      @@super-z8943 No Sh-t Sherlock, what I mean is that the filter is very small for the size of the machine, so it gets clogged quickly. A filter with more surface area would get clogged slower and would be better in such a large vacuum

      @@LiorMark yes genius, a filter with over 6000cm2 is small indeed.
