      Stockholm's *really* old city, originally built in the 1200s and 1300s. The "not so old" city (Klara) from the 1700s and early 1800s were torn down by the socialist in the 1950s-70s. Large parts surrounding that (now) modernist area survived though. So most of the "old" buildings that you see in Stockholm are actually pretty new, mainy from the 1860s to 1910s, although a few much older ones survived as well (in addition to the part of town shown in this video).

      Not really. That's probably the camera mic hearing better than the human ear. But as a Swede, I only visit Gamla Stan in the morning, evening, or winter/fall/spring, when there are much less tourists.

      True that.
      I lived in Sweden a long time ago, but certain things don't seem to change that much. Like noisy Gamla Stan for example.
