probably going by Alt Eisen and WeissRitter's combo is called by Excellen and I quote "the Love-Love Attack", though granted in the Alpha timeline Ryusei and Mai did hook up the OG verse is still open.
Wow... This game HAS to come out in America. Unfortunately, since OG1 and OG2 went completely unnoticed when they came out here, there's probably not much hope for this one. Especially since nobody cares about "last gen" anymore over here. I understand why they can't bring over the crossover-laden ones, but damn it all if we don't get more Orginal Generations.
It's also a joke about the fact that when Rising Gundam and God Gundam take the field in an SRW game, they have a double palm deathray called 'Seiki Ha Love Love Tenkyoken'
One? No, I've played a great many fanslations, just only one Super Robot War. They all suck, but they're all I have to go by at the moment. I have never once seen a fanslation that actually put any effort in understanding what was going on rather than just translating directly from Japanese to English.
actually they've both been in 3 timelines, Masaki Original Timeline Gaiden Elemental Lords threw F Final Alpha Timeline @1 and @Gaiden OG Timeline Ryusei Debut in the Shin SRW timeline Alpha Series, @1, @Gaiden, @3 The End of The Galaxy OG Timeline only difference between the two is this, Ryusei's love interests have changed between each verse, Shin it was Aya, Alpha is was a Triangle between Aya and Mai, OG it's a Triangle between Latooni and Mai
I'm aware of how hard it is to translate grammar, but names are an entirely different story. It's not even remotely difficult to determine the origin of a name, or to understand what a character is trying to say once you've got a feel for their character. That's not a matter of difficulty, it's a matter of not caring.
I saw several advertisements for the games, and I usually don't hear about any games that are coming out, so don't give me that "no marketting" bull. The reason the game sold poorly is because the entrenched fanbase that has existed even in America for ages has always played their SRW games via piracy. The fact that OG and OG2 came out in America just meant they didn't need to bother translating it. Also, there won't be a translation for this any time soon. PS2 games aren't easy to emulate
Guys u dont need to understand japanese 2 be able 2 play Super Robot Wars games, just study the OG for GBA wich was released outside japan too and u´ll see theres almost no difference between those games.
your eventually going to be able to play it in English, iso or otherwise, so I wouldn't fret too much. What got to OG on the GBA was lack of marketing. It was just in stores one day. no one knew what it was. There were no ads in magazines or tv, so of course it did poorly.
@cheng43 One can also figure out the controls by fiddling and seeing what does what, that's how I learned. But I'm sure that there are tips on the net also.
If I had the ability to, I would. It seems I'm the only person on Earth who actually cares, anyway. Unfortunately, I have neither the time nor the motivation to learn Japanese simply because everyone else is an asshole, and by extention I don't have the time to learn how to hack a script, then actually do it, and all just to have people yell at me for not calling Dygenguar "Daizengar".
maybe thats why you hate it. You have no idea how hard it is. Its almost impossible to translate because the grammar is 100% different. To translate "I sit on the chair" in japanese, it would sound like "the I chair on sit". Give them a break, its hard as hell.

Why do Folka get all the badass attacks, lol. Its like turning Hokuto no Ken into a robot.

That was the plan, my friend.
Sweet Jesus Yamato, this looks awesome. o_o

Now I want this even more.
SHINKA GOU SHOUSEN!

SWR 4 LIFE!!!JAM Project 4 life!!!I luv them to my life!!
Forget Folka, Kai and the Double Jet Magnum! FUCK YEAH!
I'm curious. Why does everyone assume a combo attack is proof of love? Why not friendship--or even convenience, considering they both use R-1 types?
Swordian... As in, "Scramble Commander" Swordian?
Kai fucking owns. WORYA!!!
Though Folka is fucking amazing :3
SO, do Mai and Ryusei finally hook up?
MOAR DYNAMIC KILLZ!
**** YEAH Folka!
SHINKA GOU SHOUSEN
So you played one and instantly assume they all suck? Could you be any more negative?

JAM Project
Go FolGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA !!!!!
Plus, the fanslation will invariably be terrible. I've played the fanslation of Third Super Robot War.
Maybe you should do some translating then.
FUCK YEAH, FOLKA
Sorry, no
