I’ve picked up on gospel vibes in several of Teddy’s songs. I suspect he’s had some foundation there, his soulful tunes walk the listener thru pain and raw emotions to inspirational endings. His voice is so soothing in a reassuring way that times can be bad but we’re going to be ok. I really like his style.

I can hear a gritty and soulful R+B ballad with 2 strong singers and maybe a choir, and I can just as easily hear one man and his guitar sing a vulnerable pure country love song. What else do you hear? It also sounds like a song that thousands of us are gonna be singing in our cars, tears streaming down, as we head into the next chapter of our lives.
