i know that people have built designs to build their own bass traps over at avs forums in the diy audio section... you could join up there and search the forums for a design, if your inclined to make you own.
You music will sound better to you if you treat your room with bass traps on all corner and high frequency absorbing material. Nice sub by the way, I'll will get me two of those later on.
Hey Basstronics What difference do you find with one port plugged and two ports plugged. I'm more interested in movies. I have a Paradigm sub and will soon be getting an SVS PB 13 Ultra just like yours so I'm interested in how this two vs one port plugging does for bottom end. All comments from everybody will be appreciated. Thank you
JL are too unreliable and are very prone to needing repairs, not what you come to expect these days, after all they ain't cheap. SVS on the other hand are sound when it comes to reliability, and besides are much much cheaper.

@SononeoV2 that is known as a bass trap. isolates the vibrations of the sub to the walls and floor, and helps keep it sounding clean.

@SononeoV2 they work on any speaker, try searching google for bass trap, there are many companies that make them.

experiment try different thing like where you place the sub and try plugging and unplugging the holes to see what works best for you

what kind ao reciver are u using it looks as if you had a subsonic filter on
even for a home sub thats crap excursion!! My sony cinema sub has twice that excursion and it costs peanuts and pounds hard!

@Cnr01ex think thats big, i have two 18" subs running about 4 thousand watts in my home theater, check my youtube.
Poor sub, this song destroys woofers, dont play it unless you are stupid :)
