Zeus is that young???????? I had no idea, that’s insane. He has been MVP in so many of the games I watched this season. I’m thrilled there’s someone to keep carrying the torch of Faker, assuming they ever let the guy retire.
He joined T1 academy at 16, and debuted a year later. What a monster.

Absolute performance from Oner and Zeus.
From what I saw - Weibo was good at timing their Ganks, but when it comes to a full on Clash, the skill difference is evident.
Yeah, the jungler had some great timing ganks on faker and Zeus, but the individual performance from T1, combined with their legendary team play earned them their 4th trophy 🏆
I didn't count how many clashes they had in the entire series, but I can remember 2-4 clashes they "won"
T1 is the best engage team in the world.
That game 3 top lane 1v3 from zeus was phenomenal. Imagine surviving for more than 10 seconds as lethality Aatrox against 3 champs and managing to survive and pop 2 of their hp bars.

oner has changed so much as a player since last year , it seems he found his rhythm and you can definitely tell with how confident he's been playing. im so proud of him
in game 3, once oner goes back to attacker mode, he is amazing like zeus

This is T1, their Grind, their Glory!
T1 have seriously played peak league of legends this whole run. I can’t remember another year I was so invested in following a team (maybe G2 in their 2019 run). Each game was so fun to watch and each and every player were so in sync. While this’ll probably be the last year this team will be together, they accomplished something unforgettable.

People made fun of "shaker" and t1 for years. So he decided to give people an idea of what peak skt looked like back in the day. A finals sweep and just 1 loss against the entire lpl worlds roster is crazy.

To win worlds as an lpl player you either have to dodge t1 till finals, hope they doesn't make it to worlds or switch regions so you can atleast beat T1 xD

@@HangryLuna imagine grinding through the hardest system in League for years only to see T1 at Playoffs. This is why I have a massive respect for LPL Chinese Players, when you're young, you're limited to a few hours of playtime cuz chinese law blah blah. And you have to grind to even get inside the Chinese Super Server and grind again maybe a few years in semi pro, and hope you get to even accepted as a pro in the LDL which is also divided regionally, and then Grind again to go up top the LPL and then Worlds just to see T1 :')

I was following Faker sincs his first game and to see his highs and lows is just simply amazing. It is a story worth watching over the years to root for him, predict T1 as the world cup winners every year and finally after 7 long years he was able to finally achieve it. It was really an emotiomal moment for me. Thank you for this T1 and my hearthfelt congratulatioms to all the players and stuff.

10 years apart, and the LPL still can't beat Faker and SKT T1 at Worlds.
This roster started with a win at Spring, had hiccups in the middle, and ended with a win again at Worlds.

The level of Faker is so that the observers can't capture it. He creates so much space for his team, constantly making sure the enemy team can't really group up. Removing the enemy's advantage, making sure they can't function is so masterfully done. He was always way ahead of any competition and finally he have a team that can play around him! so good! props to all of T1 players but he is the GOAT for a reason. These 3 games is a solid proof.

I've seen Faker play for many years now, One thing I certain is Faker get a lot more mature from when he start his career. Back in the day Faker love a good showdown, He always favor doing a solo kill than a team play. Faker now is a mature form of his old self he not waste a movement and not try to do a flashy play he used to do. He play like a big brother who support the entire team with much more calmer attitude. That some amazing character development if you ask me.
The casting from the last parts of the game was immaculate and legendary!

Wbg is good at getting ahead in the early game with ganks, but they just didn’t have the teamfight capability to actually snowball. Meanwhile T1 are a well oiled machine and are exceptionally good at finding opportunities to catch the enemy lacking. T1 has turned those big clashes into a fine art.

Amazing how game 1 started so well for WBG. THEN it went downhill REALLY fast
T1 ended up winning this Worlds using "Aatrox" (the same champion they used to defeat them in 2022). Using champions like Yone and Gwen they destroyed every enemy Aatrox, making it clear that a Tier S champion or higher is not unstoppable...
