Just freehand drilling a 4” deep screw hole down the end grain of plywood is so difficult to do it straight and properly. You make every action you do look so easy. Watching you build blows my mind every time John.

So! many! smart techniques in this video. Scrap wood as spacers, wood clamps to hold wood while screwing it on, drilling pilot holes... to name a few.
They seem natural to experienced people, but man, I need to remember them! :)
It's a joy seeing you build. Thanks so much for all the effort!!!

Thanks for all the great content and advice from experience that you provide to us. I really hope you're able to find a way to keep doing this if it's what you want to do. Even if it means promoting your Patreon account more, or even taking on the occasional sponsor. I think it can be done in a way that doesn't cheapen the experience at all. Some go overboard and seem to just be making projects to justify putting up a sponsor video, but I think it can definitely be done the other way around quite well, and I know you're the kind of guy who could pull that off! Whatever you decide, I hope you end up doing something that makes you happy. That's the best any of us can ever do!

By far the best miter station out there. Totally new and practical. I don't have the space for such a grand shrine but I took away the concept of not having a fence run down the station and your stop block system. Love them both completely. Thanks John! I watched all the individual videos at least once and still enjoyed the compilation

Well John, I've been watching your videos for a long while and the rest of the MOB guys also. I've been doing wood working for a few years now that I'm retired. I've just purchased your plans for this build. I like the idea of no flame but functionality. It is a shop and in this video I see your shop like mine. A wonderfully simple but well made piece of shop furniture. I am soon to be building my own shed set-up and will definitely be using some of the ideas from your build. John, I like the simpleness of your cabinets and the fact that you don't really care about the screws showing. After all, it's a shop cabinet, not fine furniture. Makes me feel better about the stuff that I build for my shop. Even though this is an older video, keep up the good work.

Great station! Awesome video like always! I made a simple one few years ago and man i hate my makita mitre saw the ls1018 its rails stick out so far from the back it brings the saw into the middle of the woodshop. That hitatchi looks a much better saw in this. Will just use a movable compact station next even tho your design is tempting (can always make a hole in the wall for the rails to go out haha catch some ppl walking by the shop at night with them).
