DUDE the shirt you got me hook AC first Blue oyster cut and Billy Corgan awesome !! and the maximum !!! good job !!
Just freehand drilling a 4” deep screw hole down the end grain of plywood is so difficult to do it straight and properly. You make every action you do look so easy. Watching you build blows my mind every time John.
Real life woodworking. A mess, a mistake, a fix, and laugh at yourself. Love this channel. Thank for sharing.
I built a station similar to this last year, but your idea on the vertical slide drawers is brilliant. Now I know what my next step is! Great work John!
This video last half a movie.
Yet, more entertaining and educative than a complete movie. 100% prefer this video.
Video has been up for 11 minutes and already has a thumbs down....it’s like people follow your videos just to give it a thumbs down. I’ve been waiting for this video and glad to see you post it. Thanks John the great free entertainment.
Could be a mistake and very likely so.
But there are losers out there, let 'em be and let's enjoy the vid and support John best we can.
There is always begrudgers. If there was none, I would be wondering if there is something wrong in the world.
Many trolls have only down-pointing thumbs.
I do that to MTV news. They are just the worst.
Its flat Earthers in austrailia to Them the its a thumbs up
Thats what I've always liked about your builds, you keep them as simple as required without compromising strength, I always learn from you and inspires me to build my own projects, thanks.
So! many! smart techniques in this video. Scrap wood as spacers, wood clamps to hold wood while screwing it on, drilling pilot holes... to name a few.
They seem natural to experienced people, but man, I need to remember them! :)
It's a joy seeing you build. Thanks so much for all the effort!!!
Love it. Especially the vertical slide out compartments. Genius as usual with you John. Thank you!
Great video for a Sunday. Thanks for putting it together John.
I have been waiting for this for a long time well worth the wait thank
you
This is exactly why I love your videos. A great build. Thanks John
Great video, love all the little extras you put in too. Well worth the watch
Thank you for sharing
Thanks John, I really enjoy your project videos. You have so many great ideas such as the small blocks of wood on the bottom to level with and the vertical drawer storage. I have intentions to build something similar in my own shop soon and I intend to utilize the knowledge you share the best I can. Thanks again!
Brilliant John, this comming in my new (garage)Workshop. Thanks for sharing this . Rgds from Germany, Robert
Thanks for all the great content and advice from experience that you provide to us. I really hope you're able to find a way to keep doing this if it's what you want to do. Even if it means promoting your Patreon account more, or even taking on the occasional sponsor. I think it can be done in a way that doesn't cheapen the experience at all. Some go overboard and seem to just be making projects to justify putting up a sponsor video, but I think it can definitely be done the other way around quite well, and I know you're the kind of guy who could pull that off! Whatever you decide, I hope you end up doing something that makes you happy. That's the best any of us can ever do!
By far the best miter station out there. Totally new and practical. I don't have the space for such a grand shrine but I took away the concept of not having a fence run down the station and your stop block system. Love them both completely. Thanks John! I watched all the individual videos at least once and still enjoyed the compilation
It's cool to see it start to finish and "relive" the whole build again. Great editing job John.
Really nice build! I'm just working on my first simple workbench and my next project will be a mitre saw station. Thanks for the inspiration!
I must have watched this like 30 times amd im still finding some thing new everytime i watch it. Im gonna have to watch the whole video later after work
Well John, I've been watching your videos for a long while and the rest of the MOB guys also. I've been doing wood working for a few years now that I'm retired. I've just purchased your plans for this build. I like the idea of no flame but functionality. It is a shop and in this video I see your shop like mine. "I know it's here somewhere look" can't wait to start it. Just have to make room first. Thank you and stay safe.
This is so awesome!!! I have the same saw as you and have been waiting for you to release plans and a video for the station!! Thank you so much for all the work and time you did on this video and project!!! I'll be buying the plans shortly!
Definitely a great work station! Well done. Thanks for the video.
Good thing I haven't started to build my own bench because I have been scouring CZcams for workbench videos and this is the best I have seen yet. Really, really nice.
Excelente John, muy buena recopilacion! Me gustaria ver más de otros proyectos! Gracias!!
Excellent, very utilitarian design. I am tempted to take this one on in the Fall when it cools down. Thank you.
A wonderfully simple but well made piece of shop furniture. I am soon to be building my own shed set-up and will definitely be using some of the ideas from your build. I like your technique of clear explanation without the boring 'watch me drill every single hole' that others have. Cheers from Australia.
Wow, that was well worth the 50 min run time. If I had a decent miter saw I'd surely build something like this, but mine is crap so I just clamp it to a workmate when I need it. Great work as always John.
well put together , well thought out . the drawer walls looking like an excellent storage solution for the router bits etc .
Excellent video John, that station is a great design, liked it since the day you built it, I think I gotta build me one this winter. Thank you for sharing it.
Love this station! Great video John. Keep em coming!
Great video John, I like the storage options the overall look of the miter saw stand. I just got done building and filming one myself and I determined that I reallllllly need a dust collection hood like you have here. There will need to be some upgrades to mine. Thanks for the upload!
Thanks for posting this, may not be able to watch in one setting, but i will be referencing this as I set up in my new space and left my miter station in the old garage.
That was an enjoyable 49 minutes. I just wish I had room for something like that. Fantastic ideas for storage, too.
Very nice project! Thank you, John!
Great vid John. Great idea saving plywood on the bottoms
John, I like the simpleness of your cabinets and the fact that you don't really care about the screws showing. After all, it's a shop cabinet, not fine furniture. Makes me feel better about the stuff that I build for my shop. Even though this is an older video, keep up the good work.
I think Focus Master needs a Focus Mistress! ;)
Great build, John. Your order of operations is admirable. Thanks for the video on this entire build.
Some great information John! Thanks for sharing them with us.
Great video and build! Timing is perfect, too. Planning to build a miter saw station within the next month, or two. ;) This is the one I’m building. Thanks!
What a work, congratulations!
Well worth the wait on this one. Excellent production and build
Excelente proyecto, con explicaciones detalladas. Gracias por compartir tu trabajo.. saludos desde Argentina 🙋🇦🇷
John luv it thanks for the great video and I agree with you on the bisket jointer definitely need this tool
I enjoyed every minute of this video
Great video! Love vertical drawers that was a great idea!
Like your videos. On this one building a base and setting it first helps a lot.
nice long video! also, i love the house building vids too. thanks for showing the errors and workarounds!
Incredibly helpful. Thanks.
Worth a watch just for the running chamfer backwards tip! Thanks!
Well done John! I have the same miter saw & it’s a big beast! You surely made it a righteous lair!
Awesome, awesome sation. Taking some ideas out of this. My shop will just be a 20.5 ft wall.
So much work put into it! 👌👍
This is awesome! Thank you for the thorough walkthrough and inspiration.
Amazing job John.
Really like the vertical sliders. Very cool.
Before I saw this video, I thought John was a bit of a dork. Now, I see him as a badass. Ty John.
the project as a whole is by no means simple, but i appreciate that the steps to get there are. nice build, and way less intimidating than some other projects i've seen of similar scale. thank you for sharing! simple solutions often take plenty of trial and error to present themselves and i appreciate you sharing what you've learned over the years.
i built mine like he did and it is very simple
That was awesome! I have been thinking about building one but wanted a good storage solution also. This fits the bill! Thank you for posting this. :)
Excellent video and process. I am inspired with the vertical storage for the frequently used tools and router bits. Excellent job. A really smooth operation. Thank you for sharing. Keep up the great work and the excellent Craftsmanship.
Love the 2" I Build It dovetails.
Brilliant ideas in there John, I think this might be the best one of yours I've watched so far and will be doing something similar next time I move house. Thank you :) :)
I enjoy watching your videos , thank you .
Man I love your videos! Very great ideas!!!! I'm definitely going to order some plans when I finish building my shop
Great build. Lots of great ideas in there
Thank you for the excellent video!
what a great video. Nice to see a longer more complete project.
Hi John from Glasgow Scotland. Really enjoy your videos no nonsense plan speaking this one in particular really enjoyed gonna take a lot out of this for my shop. Keep them coming 😀👍
Oh... I never thought to use spring clamps on my saw board. This was worth the view for that tip alone!
Great build John, really like your build videos 👍
Great ideas John. I'm looking to improve on mine
Simple, strong, and quick. The 'carpentry' can be reserved for actual projects...quicker the shop is up and running, the quicker we can make stuffs and things!!!!
I do like the saw blade storage drawer.
Thank you for your excellent content! This is an excellent project, one that I've put a lot of thought into. Thumbs up for the smashing pumpkins shirt!
Thank you for this. it's just perfect :)
Great video and build! Thanks!
VERY NICE THANKS FOR SHARING ALLOT OF GREAT IDEALS. YOU ARE A MASTER FOR SURE. THANKS AGAIN STAN
Really nice design I like it , I have a small back storage and I will like to make something like your design, very convenient , and space saver , thanks for sharing
Great station! Awesome video like always! I made a simple one few years ago and man i hate my makita mitre saw the ls1018 its rails stick out so far from the back it brings the saw into the middle of the woodshop. That hitatchi looks a much better saw in this. Will just use a movable compact station next even tho your design is tempting (can always make a hole in the wall for the rails to go out haha catch some ppl walking by the shop at night with them).
Great job mr l am about to rip my mitre saw station out and re build it you have given me some great ideas like the vertical drawers thanks stay safe 👏👏👍
Great work John. I love all of your videos.
I as just looking behind him at about 22:47. Looks like a hurricane went off in the shop. Stuff all over. He never shows it like that. It's always immaculate.
its a beautiful HOME...awesome
nice, i like to show off the screws. it shows how precise the spacing of screws are measured out.
Un trabajo maravilloso 👍
Great video. Thank you
wow , I like that very much, great work !!
That miter saw is a beast. Wow.
Nicely done John! 👍👊
Awesome Job!
Yes! Thank you ...
Great project.
Love the music shirts.
Great work, The station is brilliant i love the design. Thanks for sharing
Thanks John, love this kind of video's. Wished I could give you more then just one thumbs up. And right on time, was thinking about building my own. I will use your plans as the basis. I guess the thumbs down folks are pathetic jealous people, there's no reason for them to be negative about the video.
I really like the vertical drawers.
Progetto molto bello complimenti
Awesome work!
Nice job .... enjoyed ur video and ideas... like u point out ur mistakes and corrected them too ... Thx for the video :)
LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU
