That was just a video for this video I haven't sold on Vimeo myself. Discoverability will come dow to how you promote it. Doubt there's organic search going to find you random viewers.

Great video. Very helpful. As I understand it, Vimeo will deduct local sales taxes from the purchase price you set. So in the UK for example, not only will you lose 10% of the purchase price plus transaction costs, but also 20% VAT. That will happen regardless of whether you are registered for VAT, as the sale is made by Vimeo and they have to be registered. I still think that Vimeo is a good way to go, but people may want to factor that deduction into the price they opt for on this platform. I'm currently trying to track down the US IRS tax form that people outside the USA have to send to Vimeo [not sure how] in order to stop Vimeo witholding 30% of your revenue, to pay to the IRS. If Paul knows about how to do this, I'd appreciate the info.
Yeah mate you got it. But saves the accounting headache on your end. Yeah I know the form W- sommat hold on. This one if you are a company www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw8bene.pdf Shame they don't provide the 90% filled out version like most do then you realise you only have to fill out section 1,2,3 one further down and the bottom (not exact that)

Not sure if that is in a forum, which you could build your own, post about it to youtube or do facebook and google ads. Just so many marketing answers to your question it's hard to say. They setup the bank details. You need to add your paypal to your account settings - on demand - payments Is that what you mean? Only the people who purchase can see the video.

Hello. I think you'll hit a weekly limit on Pro. That's the issue. You'd have to pay Business vimeo.com/upgrade Pricing is there. Maybe reach out to them and see if they have a 1 video deal? Must be a long doc if it's that big though.

Wow, you pay and they still take 10%? That's the highest I've seen so far. Most other services do not charge sales fees if you pay for their platform.

That's a good question. I think they still have access but you can't sell it anymore. There's a simple option to click download after purchase.
You can choose to not allow downloads in your settings

Hi, thanks for the great explanations! If I would like to put my documentary (which is 213GB) on video on demand, can I still use the Vimeo Pro version? I just have this one film - so no more GB in one year. Would be happy for an answer, since I could not find one on the Vimeo website.

I have a DVD version - but it looks horrible. That is why I thought I leave it in its original size. You think 20GB would do it for 1h30 to look nice? You are my hero of the day with your fast response! :)
I would think you could get it to less than 20gb.
