I'd come back to this after 8 years to enjoy this great show again, and was surprised so many others are doing the same. Speaks to the band and this particular show
I've been coming back to this ever since I first saw it. Truly a masterpiece, even better than the studio version - must have been magical to see it live. Nicolas Jaar is up there as one of my idols when it comes to music!

I've been coming back to this video for the last 5-6years. Everything about it is perfect. Sun setting on NYC, lights reflecting in the water, empire state in the distance mystical music on a rooftop. Magic. Best boiler room. Period.
Shady Shawky it just looks very decadent... i don`t say they should do a moshpit or something like that.. but if you just lie still, you can as well just buy yourself a coffin... Steven Campos and how can you watch "music"?
Steven Campos fak off :) and you Shady Shawky fak off NYc's Sheeps :)People are Does not now how to do rockn roll :( Poor nicolas :( You have to come kharkiv
This performance is, totally, the most electrifying, mystifying, exotic, intimate work of art I've ever seen. Nicolas and Dave, have put there heart and soul and bodies into creating a true masterpiece. I am so amazed, and honored to have been turned on to them, and their new-age music.I love it!
I was able to see it live at First Ave in Mpls. It was electrifying. Life-altering actually. I would so much appreciate them getting back together. On KEXP live Nico said they had a lot more to say.
soundcloud.com/the-buhduzit-paradox/my-people-hold-on-eddie-kendricks-buhduzit-edit Do you wanna spend a questionable 4.28 mins on my Darkside inspired track?
30:10..when they start the first notes of PLANET CARAVAN and NY skyscraper behind with those colorful shining lights and that boat slowly moving...ah...don't tell me that this was not one of the most mystical moments on modern music!! Good music is the one that is honest and played with the heart and that touches your soul...and that one touched my soul.Deeply.
Rare are artists like those guys. When you hear them for the first time you can say this is very good music, i mean real music... not just sound that is pleasant to hear. Look at Nicolas Jaar, in each of his performances, he is litterally in trance, this guy doesn't play music, he's playing with his soul!
+RadioCityNova_: Thought excatly the same when i heard it last saturday the very first time: "wow guitar riffs such as Pink Floyd" combined with excelent wonderfull grooving grooves*:-)! Now i`m on the way to become a big fan! Löv
this live made history... it was already clear then that it was out of time; it was avant-garde but it wasn't a passing fad; he reformulated the concept of rock; then the others came...
I feel like I’ve wasted 9 years not knowing about this! Stumbled across it looking for something bass heavy to test new ear buds. Freakin Brilliant!! It’s like Shpongle and Pink Floyd had some kind of cool love child baby. OBSESSED!!
I got chills down my spine when they started playing planet caravan. For 6 minutes straight, every cell in my body felt perfect. Kudos for a great set/colaboration.
Onde a time I showed this perfomance to my uncle Who plays guitars , and he tolds me : - It’s nice how Pink Floyd create influences in many differents styles !!! - I loved his observations
One of the most beautiful details in the world!! Looking at the comments, just realising that how universal the music’s language is and the spiritualism that Nico gives!!
I had the privilege to see them in 2014 at Dimension festival in Pula, Croatia. Those who know how special is the opening concert will understand. Well, I'm trying to find the words to describe what I've seen but it's really hard. I will say just this: if you take music as a sacred experience (as you should) that night I entered in a new, elevated life.
What the fuck!?! He isn't only a good producer of electronic music, good (live) Dj, god damn good looking. No, he's also a good singer! And he's young! What a life... Good on you Nicolas Jaar. Enjoy :)
I am listening to this at work in the 'background' now. While I have listened to this a thousand times, I keep coming back to the screen to watch Nicolas move, perform. I simply can't keep him in the background. And I also want to move, but I'm just stuck in my chair. How can this music be so terrifyingly amazing. I shook his hand a few week ago when he was visiting my city. I am now contemplating that moment, I should have asked him every question I had, but I didn't. Maybe it's for the best. The man will stay a beautiful mystery forever.
Wow, speechles. How much can one learn from few guitar notes, it just incredible how Dave handle that thing. And all the haters here, especially that Reynolds troll... I feed you. Here, take my heart, because of yourkind, it is burdened and dark, take it as a sacrifice, for better art. I pray all the gods that my sacrifice not go in vain and you, could leave.. and relieve my pain.
I always come back to this video... all the fucking time!
😂 Same ❤

+RadioCityNova, I Was thinking the exact same thing. Pink Floyd Infused. So nice to see soul being passed on from generation to generation.
no words to describe it! I had the fortune to listen to them live, supernatural

The Pink Floyd of modern time Darkside !!!!!

Reverb is one hell of an effect
what about the Delay, whatttt????
Delay is godly! It may be my favourite, right next to fuzz and tremolo
Yep. I'm a beginner to moderate guitarist and everytime I play, i crank the reverb and all of a sudden everything sounds much better.
Time based effects are one hell of a drug*

Planet Caravan at the end made me cry........ So beautiful.
Nicolas Jaar = sexiest man alive

I've just discovered Darkside and when I first listened to this remix I honestly thaught it was Pink Floyd playing. Awesome awesome job guys.

True story. Can't find better words.
I cant get sick of this set. Really good. With the right amount of ambience.

i think the best part of this is just how hard they are feeling the music.
they are fully aware of how damn head-bob worthy this music is
This is by far the best set from their Darkside tour. Most favourite moment @13:58
what is the track starting at that moment ? Freak, Go Home?
I keep coming back to this. Glorious. Thanks Darkside.
