- You may have missed the Farm Progress show 2019 in Decatur, IL this year, but here are a few highlights from the event!
What's better than a farm show? How about a Farm show FULL of CZcamsrs! After the show, Brian's Farming Videos graciously hosted a cookout at his camper which included Welker Farms, Mike Less, Harmless Farmer, Cole the Cornstar and their families.
Also seen at the show were Tractor Time with Tim as well as How Farm's Work!

Hahaha, can't look too "worked over" for the vendors!
We have a CAT45 tractor. Not as new as the one you saw @ the show, but the same basic design. You can get through pretty much anything with one. They will "direct" you into a wet spot fast. It's hard to turn in wet spots. & if you make hard turns, the tracks can mess up whatever surface your on (other than concrete). Even with those issues, it's still a great tractor.

i've always loved farm festivals... with all the steam engines they used back in the day, we had 1 blow up here a few yrs ago.... so there could be dangerous. miss talking to all the farmers. miss 4H and all they do

I'm always amazed when some organizer tries to shut down any free advertising for Vendors, must have friends in the local media. I would think the percentage of customers for any given piece of equipment is much higher on a channel about farming than some local news channel with limited outreach. Kudos to the ones that talked to you anyway!

It sounded like you had fun. I wish we had a huge farm show in NC but we don’t pretty much all we have around here is the little Mount airy farm fest. I hope that you can do that next year cause then I’ll get to meet all three of you. Now they have all of the old antique farm tractors because we’ve got a bunch of them, but there’s also some really cool toy related stuff that happens every year for the kids. All the younger kids get to bring or buy ride on tractors and show them off in their own little parade that happens before the actual one. I am also trying to get SLC farms to com as well. There is also a little tractor supply store up there that sells nothing but toys. And what I was hoping to do was hang out with the four of you and we can go in that store and you guys can tell me aboutall the different farming equipment that they sell in there. This little festival is so small you don’t need a media pass. Also usually happen sometime around April or May so right in between Maple and hey season. Soon as I find out the actual date in January or so I will let you guys know, and I’ll probably be wearing one of your hats or shirts so that you can find me.
Course I am kind a hard to miss though even without the supplies just because I’m probably the only guy walking around there with a white cane. But I figure I’ll stand out more if I wear the supplies, so that way there is no possible way you can mistake me for somebody else! LOL!

Kind of crazy they wouldn’t give you a media pass. All of you are basically promoting farming and all the equipment in a positive light which is ridiculous they don’t recognize that.
Sadly, yes. They did eventually give us passes, but only after we repeatedly asked all day, and at least for Cole and me it wasn't until the END of Tuesday and we were both only there for the day Tuesday :(

Why do you need a press pass ?
Often vendors are not happy about talking about equipment in front of a camera, and at this event in particular the vendors were INSTRUCTED NOT to talk on camera to anyone WITHOUT a pass. And I did have a few refuse to be on camera when I tried interviewing them.

Well thats some incrdible machinery, and there attitude to you tubers is stupid because they are loosing a lot of free publicity, with the amount of viewers yours and other tubers get, they need to get with the times.What footage you did get was very interesting your little one must have beem in heavan that day, getting to sit in all those machines,, as always you look stunning ,,beautifull..your video was amazing,..and any hat you put on your sweet head looks good, you have a natural style all your own..lucky kids to have such a great mom..and your huband too..
