Watching this from Germany because I am a fan of Cate Garraway and Adil. None of her answers of energy secretary were convincing or the answeres to the asked point, they were , just repeats from the same sentences , previously said by other conservatives.

The govt. could provide the buffer like other countries have done. They could have dealt with it with the big energy companies directly. That way inflation could have been kept down.

I don't understand why it's so difficult for people to directly answer purposefully loaded/emotive questions. All she should've said was we don't make national policy solely based on how I feel about my family. And then she should've just posed a similarly emotive question back to him about families who have waited for years trying to get into the UK through proper channels.
