Gigs are scary!
When we get in we want to get right to checking and mixing
The last thing you want to do is waste all your time setting up and labelling your mixer
But how do we set up the mixer if we don’t know what’s coming?
Easy! Use a template showfile with processing ready, and we make our gig fit our showfile
I’ll share with you the catch all show file that I use for almost every gig
And I’ll show you how to make it in M32 edit
I use this template on every mixer though so you can tweak it to your needs - Krátké a kreslené filmy
I always leave some channels free after the drumkit for extra toms, a ride cymbal mic or a drum computer.
Could you do how to create a show file for Allen&Heath and Yamaha??? Please!!!!!!!!!
Hi Andrew. To name channels select say chan 1 hit Ctrl n name it hit Esc key hit right arrow no mouse cool Thanks for your great videos Love that accent. Dave from South Africa
Aw thanks haha. Here's to having some more niche English accents! Someone once commented that I speak English well, so there's that...

did you know how can i creat a new blank scene?
Would you ever setup an output matrix or main LR, sub and fills, or leave that to house A1 when you arrive at the venue?
Yeah I totally would. I tend to set matrices as I go for whatever reason. . Except on my pro2 file. Then I use the first 4 matrices as FX sends and the last 4 as PA and REC. Loads of people that come through my venues have L R FF SUB matrices set up
why are you using low cut on bass drum?low cut=high pass right ? but kick is a low frequency why are u cutting it ?
Some do, some don’t. It’s totally legitimate to use a high pass filter on anything if it sounds right. I usually don’t high pass kicks though
It's a great question. In some cases it just gets me the sound I want. I might have it as low as 30hz. I might not use it at all.
