    GPS sure makes the job of navigating easier. I liked that you pulled out a paper topo map. I learned paper map and compass and still use them often but I feel like a guy using a slider ruler in a crowd of guys with calculators ha ha! As you said, the best is to use all the tools you have and my first go-to tools now are all GPS based.

    I found an article on the wrong way to camp. I was wondering if you have seen this craziness. People are storing their RVs in the national forest for the upcoming weekend or the summer. Keeping their slides in and locking their ATVs to their camper.

      Hello David. Yes, I have seen this. It is a popular thing for hunters to do. I just went on trip and saw many elk hunting camps. In addition to trailers, I also saw massive tents complete with walls and a wood stove. As long as they do not violate the stay limit, which varies anywhere from 14 to 30 days, then they are not breaking any rules.
