It's great to hear Bill not being grumpy. He sounds very passionate.
Greatest NFL Coach and Greatest QB to date
His robot mode is all an act hes actually a pretty cool guy off the clock. I saw a documentary about him hes literally just an old dude that loves his grandkids and going fishing, who happens to be the greatest football coach in the modern era.
I know right, this sounds like that neighbor that just chats about funny stories of his day at work over a beer, definitely not after game interview Belichick.
Benched Malcolm Butler for no good reason and lost a Superbowl bc of it
I was about to say the same thing. I love the Belichick grumpy attitude but I also love to hear the more candid and open style where he really talks through what we've all had to only guess about for 2 decades.
Paul Brown and Otto Graham said "hi."
5:22 Ty’s quickness to come up with dialog while doing an impression is incredible
Bro Pat like relies on Ty now it’s dope I’ve never personally seen a Ty piece that I was like wtf at ya know
Tom's career is history now and Belichick loves football history more than anything.
Except his grandkids and fishing. Oh and winning. But yes, he loves football history 🤭
Yeah watching the him on the NFL 100 was very interesting
That's a great way to put it.
Well said
This is the most I have heard Belichick speak. He usually just grunts during media availability
Or goes on a lecture about special teams
He’s much more talkative during the off season
Check out the nfl 100 from a few years ago, it’s just Bill nerding out over great players.
LOL, he is like Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino. If you turn the captions on during that movie, there's like 20 times where the caption reads: (growls)
maybe u should listen more talk less
That was the clearest Ive ever heard Bill voice.
I know right? I had to rewind it after it started because I was like..Is zat BB?
@@paulashley3732 I thought that was Tom Brady speaking at first 😂
Belichick always lives up to everything I hear about him. He is completely locked down on what is happening now with his team, total poker face, gives away nothing that could be used advantageously against the Patriots. However, if you get him talking about NFL history and former players - he becomes a completely different guy. He's animated and funny and personable. It's a total transformation.
He just doesn’t give the media anything which paints him as a mute non personality. When in reality he gives his personality to those who deserve it. Respect it.
That's because the ventriloquist isn't speaking for him during those times. It's hard to move your mouth with a whole arm up there.
Hearing Bill speak is rarer than hearing my Dad say he’s proud of me
Dad?? He went to get milk years ago!
@@cassiuscarter2832 damn I thought it was for a pack of smokes or something.
Bill is never willing to talk about his team and things that can harm his team, game plans, injuries, personnel decisions, etc. But talk to him about the history of football, he’ll change his demeanor and talk for hours
Tom taking the criticism on the chin as a motivational/humbling tool for the betterment of both himself and his team is the full embodiment of a Michigan Man. GOAT
Is that you Rich Eisen? Ha ha.
Not sure I'd use University of Michigan as a place that produces humble people generally.
"GOAT" Otto "10 Straight Championships" Graham has entered the chat.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
That’s a pretty great chin.
He admitted he learned all this from Bobby Knight. As a fan of anybody but the Patriot Dynasty, I have new respect for Bill !! And Tom.
This is exactly what happened with Arians too, which the media took the wrong way. Tom wants to be on equal footing with the rest of the team. He is the ultimate leader.
Greatest of all time 🙌
Notice how the media hasn't spoken about this.
Blount really has some great stories I love it when he’s on! Keep it up boys👍🏻
Great last name for weed company too.
Lmao
Yeah it was nice to see him again. Last time I did, he was helping my Eagles win the SB.
He is a bigot and hates transgender people. Posted it on his Instagram story. Don’t support that guy
Two 🐐 just recognizing and appreciating how both guys brought out the best of each other. There will never be a tandem like Brady and Belichick.
Pats Nation! The greatest N.F.L. franchise ever! 10 SB appearances 6 SB victories in an 18 year period!
Pat you and your team are great. Hearing the story of Bill and Tom reminded me of the stories told of Pop and Timmy on the Spurs. Love you guys!
GSG
Exactly what I was thinking. Duncan is the goat and Brady is considered the goat, coincidence? I think not. O, and yes I said it, Duncan over jordan, all day and twice on sunday.
In season and off-season Bill seem like completely different people.
Never heard this much life in Bill’s voice
As a patriots fan it was great to have these two get back on the same side
This makes me feel like Brady will sign a 1 day contract to retire a patriot
Do they do that in the NFL?
@@TheKnightofAwesomeness yeah
For sure
@@rblk9213 Nice, Hope Brady does it then
Please let it happen!!!!!!
That was a great interview with Tom and Coach Bellicheck🎉
Ty’s impression was PERFECT!
Will Tom Brady ever be on this show?
This is really cool to hear. Brady should take Robert krafts offer and sign a 1 day contract to retire a patriot.
Yes that would show Tom is saying the truth he loves the Patriots, Kraft and Belichick like he claims to, no friction there.
As long as Kraft presents him with one last deflated football.
@@onewarriornation602 ooohhhh
Ill never understand this kind of thing
@@ducckman that's ok maybe when you're older you'll understand.
It was fabulous to hear both of them.
As a Patriots fan, this was so exciting and heartwarming.
Been waiting for something like this for years 😂
Tom Brady knew what he was doing
Of course especially leaving after the disrespect to himself it’s wild not getting the long term deal or getting him weapons in 2019
Long term deal? The dude is done after two seasons on another team lmao
@@benwest1839 psst - 3 seasons and that exactly what he signed for in 2020 .. learn football dude
I see your at 2.11 million subscribers!! I have been a BIG fan since the 300k days over a year ago, no-one deserves success more than you. You are hilarious, genuine, and positive. To the moon!!!
This was a master class in leadership! Thank you gentlemen.
it's football, none of it matters to the real world...relax for a bit

You can try your mental gymnastics all you want to, but the truth is you and I are ruled by "leaders" who hate us. Being able to take criticism is difficult for the majority of people it's even worse for people in positions of power, so props to brady for that.
Wow, I half wish bill or tom spoke up before. I'm not sure how they could have brought it up reasonably after he left, but this is what I always expected between the 2.
Love It Pat The Pat McAfee Show Bro
With Belichick and Brady it’s always gonna be the chicken or the egg. The fact is they worked and melted together for almost 2 decades, and created a perfect rooster called the Patriots.
All you have to do is look at their teams currently to realize it was both of them. Tampa fell apart after 3 years, and Bill's team is clearly missing his QB.
@@ananthropomorphictalkinggo6641
Nah it was 80% Brady. He just got old and at 45 you cannot carry a team anymore, just like Lebron is still sharp but cannot carry the lakers into the playoffs. If Brady was 35 he would win at least 3 super bowls with the Buccaneers maybe even 4, he’s that guy. Obviously Bill is a great coach but he looks mediocre without Brady. Brady just had a bad year because his O line was injured and his receivers weren’t on point, distractions from the divorce, new head coach, no good TE to catch anything. He had two great seasons without Bill. Bull hasn’t done anything without Tom
I thought they both didn't like each other but this changed my mind
this was pure and passionate!
Very hard to keep winning in the NFL. To stand back and witness what they accomplished is unbelievable
The ad read reference was dead on 😂
Haha the subtle dig at the golf simulator setup
AJ's laugh at something toxic is the funniest part of the show
The greatest duo of all time.
Yeah, not even.
2:00 Seahawks went the other way. Pete Carrol never scolded Russel Wilson which destroyed the team relationship.
New set looks great.
Haven't bill that enthusiastic since his talk about the history of long snappers
Love y’all vids keep it up boys.
Auerbach did that with Bill Russell. He told he was going to yell at him in front of the other guys in the locker room.
5:22 is great, needs to be a real ad
Hell yeah! LG is the man!
I hope belicheck somehow gets into the broadcast side of football once he’s done coaching. How he breaks the game down is fascinating to listen to
Agreed. The guy is a football genius and historian.
I didn’t even realize that was Bill talking at first lol
Tom and Bill were the GOAT duet. They were making each other better.
This is the highest pitch voice I've ever heard him speak in. Wow, never thought he might open up like that.
I screamed ayyyooooo when bill said that
It's interesting how times change, because I am pretty sure Bart Starr and Lombardi had the opposite view. Starr would want to be ripped, but not in front of the guys - because he felt like he needed to be the leader.
Hell yeah Bart Starr reference
You wouldn’t believe the relative success and fame (and attendant awards) Tom Brady enjoys today relative to Bart Starr did at his peak celebrity
Brady got that 375 mil contract with FOX, but BB would be great in the booth talking football!
Gotta love this.
When he said "yeah coach RIP my ass" I literally couldn't stop laughing for for like 3 minutes I had to walk out of the office I love it.
Why?
@@randomupdates4013 I think he’s thinking of it in an immature way but even if I try to think of it that way it’s still unfunny. Idk lol
@@jesserivera6611 pretty much lol
Good to hear Bill
Any coach in a similar situation with used this simple and effective method. I remember Mike Holmgren telling about how Bill Walsh used it to motivate players by chewing out his coaches over their players performance. The key to it's effectiveness is for the player or coach to complete the ruse by acting humiliated or upset over it.
Man this just speaks highly of both. Credit Bill for shedding light on what everyone always speculated from hearsay info…..But this sound bite just reaffirms both as the great coach and (in my opnion) football player of all time.
Brady won his 1st when I was 12 years old. Finally hearing this is awesome!!
That LeGarrette Blount into was spectacular 🎉😂
Aj’s fkn that chair up 😂
this the first time i’ve ever seen pat and aj in the same room
Don't be surprised if Bill's HOF acceptance speech is the most interesting in history 'cause wow? I have always respected Bill and what he has accomplished, I will admit, if i were not a Packer fan I would be a Belichick fan no matter where he would be coaching...it may take another 20 yrs. but NFL fans will finally realize that this guy is the best coach of all-time hands down
Bill Belichick: "Tom Brady reads coverages so spectacularly that sometimes, if a defensive back falls down, Brady won't even notice the open receiver bc he's already processed the coverage and the receiver wasn't supposed to be open so he knew not to waste his time looking there."
Brady is the 🐐 of NFL QBs bc he checks all the boxes:

Brady's mobility in the pocket, his footwork, and being able to avoid the rush are all underrated aspects of his skill sets.
He was robbed of Pro Bowl recognition in 2002, 2003, 2006, & 2020. And he was robbed or could've easily won 3 more NFL MVP awards in 2012, 2016, & 2021.
Robbed of All Pro recognition in 2012 & 2015
Threw to no names from for a lot of his career. But then got better weapons as his career progressed.
He also never received any consistent praise for his deep ball accuracy, intermediate accuracy, tight window accuracy, and his ability to throw under pressure.
Brady gets praised for the wrong things and was robbed of many things that would have completely silenced his doubters.
The ads!!! 😂
Ok major respect from now on.
Love Blount, great Patriot!
Brady & Belichick Greatest NFL duo of all time
I’ll just go watch the Let’s Go podcast. Thanks..
Love seeing Blount on the show!
Bad choice of Words Guy! 😂
that is the most i've heard bill say in the 2-3minutes vs a 20min conference
“i rippped his ass more then anyone” AYOOO
How blount beat that oregon incident speaks volumes.
to be Blount here.
Bobby Knight to Michael Jordan, Pop to Tim Duncan…….seems like a thing.
Love bill and Tom!
Sleeveless in Seattle? Pretty bold move, Pat.
As a patriot fan, I’m ready for all the stuff to come out. Do Your Job !
Which do you think would be a better tell all book.. Tom Brady or Bill Belichick? I feel BB's book would be so juicy and fantastic. You'd everything from the very beginning and after football. We may never get that book but it would be EPIC
Imagine the things you'd learn about coaching from it
I could see Bill being able to do 3 to 5 Books for his entire coaching career...
BB for sure. Got the Patriots dynasty, as well as the legendary 80’s Giants defense under Parcells.
Bill would be great on TV. Probably never happen, but he is a great story teller
Why they all giggle when Bill said that Brady asked to “rip my ass out too, go ahead” and that Bill got the green light and took it 😂
This podcast segment is brought to you by Wet Wipes
get these dudes a coffee table 🤣🤣😂😂
Tom Brady’s podcast is quite the buzz explaining his highlights!
The product placement 9:30
Ravens fan here with the obligatory "have you heard Bill talk about Ed Reed though?"
Watching this video today as the Pop had sold out again later that night but just restocked again today 😢
Hearing Bill kinda cements the story of legacy and building one. So many years silent humble but with an ego, then boom
I can see why Tom left not getting the long term deal or older players wanting Tom some more leeway or respect or Bill trying to trade Gronk to the lions
Very different than Bart Starr's reaction to Lombardi treatment of field leader.
Next level when when your HC is listening to all the interviews.
Cool to see LeGarrette doing well in his post-NFL endeavors. He was one of my favorite Patriots, I couldn't even be mad when he whooped my team's ass for Philly in SB52.
Pat looking all chiefed up. Lol. I ain’t talking kc either😂
Nice to hear bill talk like a person lol
Petition to interview Tyson McGuffin about pickleball and talk about sports on your show, now that you are into it!
This is the best part about the athletes becoming journalists now. Athletes and coaches are much more comfortable opening up to other athletes and coaches vs traditional media members
Massive news to sports media. Everyone should have known this was not an issue
