They missing the Civil War
I love your vids man, keep up the great work bro!
You missed the trust territories following the Second World War, the purchase of the U.S Virgin Islands, the resolution of disputed territory in Maine, and the annexation of American Samoa.
Also the Webster-Ashburton Treaty of 1842 settled the Maine/Canada border. you missed that.
And purchase of USVI from Denmark 1917
And the civil war
And Liberia
A Detailed evolution video about Japan or China or Turkey would be amazing.
Japan has not really changed its borders, but I will look at China and Turkey with pleasure
@@Boris10938Japan's expansion was actually similar to America's if you start pre-colonization
@@Boris10938 Japan's borders today may be mostly the same as in 1800 but Japan has had an interesting evolution of territory during the late colonial era.
Turkiye, you mean. also means end of turkey and turkey puns
Should’ve added “no commentary” on the title of the video
Geo History out with another banger!
@GeoHistory If you were planning on remaking this video, you should include: The purchase of the U.S. Virgin Islands from Denmark in 1917, the American Equatorial Islands Colonization Project in 1935 which gave the U.S. the U.S. Minor Outlying Islands, and U.S. occupation of Greenland during World War 2 from 1941 to 1945 as well as during the Cold War. You should also have Alaska under the Russian Empire or Imperial Russia instead of just Russia, and Guam should be enlarged somehow as it can’t be seen.
Could you pls make a video on either the Colonization of Oceania or the History of Troubles in Northern Ireland? I really love your videos, and these two suggestions have big importance to me.
Great vid!!!!
great video
Forgot the annexation of American Samoa, the purchase of the Virgin Islands, the temporary US administration of Greenland, the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands, and the annexation of the Northern Mariana Islands
Agreed!
Hope you get to a million subs faster!
The music was such a bop. S tier😄
Good video
These types of maps are cool! What future change in America's borders would you like to see happen?
annexation of the rest of north america
Annexation of Canada🤞
Maybe some of the land in the south of the USA could go back to Mexico since there's still lots of Spanish speakers there.
@yougoslavia because more and more Spanish women stays in USA for lots and lots of years that more Mexican/Spanish babies being born
@@fredericoduvel3092 Never gonna happen. Annexation of Canada means declaration of war on Britain, Australia and new Zealand and 14 other British dominion territories.
If you want more of this read "An Empire Hidden in Plain Sight"
Can you made a video about the history of Italy since the unification?
I miss the old narrator.
Same bring him back
could you do one on Russia as well?
The beat drop though
Love that word "annexation." It means, "brute force with cannon and infantry."
Sick beat. But I thought you were gonna talk.
great video once again
Please make a video about the Crimean War with several events in the world after US independence so that these 2 videos are connected as the Seven Years War and US independence are connected
Native Americans are watching this video like “yeah, uh huh, that’s how it went…”
What about Guam? Wake Island? Puerto Rico and all the US territories?
Small they are labeled there in the circles. It’s just they’re so small when the map is zoomed out you can’t see them.
They missed some (Guam, N. Marianas) and should have kept them circled for clarity.
Guam was circled beside the Philippines
Nice
I would love if you did a Punic wars video or Inca wars
Forgot a few things. Basically a lot of minor islands in the pacific, navasa island, guantanamo bay, and for a little while the panama canal territory
Very Nice 🇺🇲
Please make a detailed map of the USA just like you did with cold war
Inaccuracy, the island on the vancouver island on canada shown on the Pig Wars video by oversimplified is immediately taken.
I love the trap beats you add to these videos.
Didn’t the USA also obtain islands from Japan as well?
Please make more videos
LETS GOOO
For next video content History of the Philippines Pls.☺❤
Song name plz
Russia be like: I am doing the same what the US did with Mexico
You didn't include purchase of Virgin Islands from Denmark in 1917, or the addition of Guam, Saipan, or American Samoa.
Поменяй музыку, это музыка не подходит к таким роликам , она подходит к войнам, например в второй мировой войне это музыка походить , а здесь нет
Wasnt this video from years ago???
Video ideas: Roman Empire; the spread of indo-Europeans, Mongol Empire, Arab slave trade,
you know it’s a great history channel when the music always used is GOD TIER
the chopped and screwed (3/4 speed) watch is boss too
done in slower speed so ppl could absorbed it.
Can you make a video of the entire history of the British in India from the early days of the British East India company to 1857 Indian rebellion to direct British rule to Indian independence in 1947.
The Video Subject: 🟦🟥🦅🦅🍔
The Music: Nothings different
pls make one video on the various civil wars in africa after decolonisation
Please, make a video of the history of Spain
We’ve been on a downward swing for a while. Time to manifest some more destiny.
Cool video! 👍🏻😎 As a Spaniard 🇪🇸 I’d like to highlight that the territory controlled by Spain was called the Viceroyalty of New Spain (1521-1821), and the importance of the Adams-Onís Treaty because it was the one who established the border between the Spanish territory 🇪🇸 and the United States 🇺🇸.
On the other hand, the Spanish-American War of 1898 it was also a turning point because we lost our last colonies (Cuba 🇨🇺, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷, the Philippines 🇵🇭 and Guam 🇬🇺) which came under the control of the United States.
Don't forget the islands they also sold to Germany in 1898. Palau, Carolines, Northern Marianas.
Your ancestors were held responsible for the establishment of one of the oldest railway companies here in Southeast Asia, the Ferrocarril de Manila-Dagupan and during American Colonization it became Manila Railroad Company and then on 1964 it became Philippine National Railway. During the last years of Spanish colonization the philippine railways stretches for thousands of kilometres but 2 to 3 deacdes after it deteriorates, ranging from abandonment to selling of the railway assets and defunct lines. Now from thousands of kilometers it became just 500-800km. Fortunately our government is having aproject to revive some of the old railway lines established by the Former spanish government
so how was new york called new amsterdam at one point?
It was founded by the Dutch long before this starts with the birth of the United States in 1776.
The Adams-Onis treaty has been the worst border treaty in the history of border treaties, maybe ever.
Yay, the 4,648,994th video about the USA on CZcams!
Well people only want to pay attention to winners 🥇 🤭
how did France get Louisiana back? did Napoleon acquire it when he occupied Spain?
and if so...I wonder he only took Louisiana and not all of Spain....
The westward expansion is thanks to the Oregon trail and the transcontinental railroad which lead to california during the california gold rush.
These two events are what significantly populated the west coast in oregon and san francisco and its why the places in between are not very populated at all
Bro missed the Civil War
Glad to know where mcdonalds came from
When did France take ownership of the land that they sold in the Louisiana purchase?
France Through Napoleon acquired Louisiana from Spain in 1800 and took possession in 1802. He wanted to rebuild but couldn't, did not want it to fall to British, so he sold it to USA.
Wow, these videos Part 1 & 2 brings such a clearer picture.
Geopolitics and their politicians powerplays are critical to understand the actual situation.
Most people understand this to be mainly of a religious nature. Indeed, that's an important element, but one that has been exploited by the more powerful countries involved.
It's a humanity tragic and it's time to resolve, but not in the hyperviolent way these powers are proposing.
Conflict propaganda must stop and lead way to a serious negotitation of a free and neutral Israel, without a religious driven governance.
cuba & puerto rico??
1819 Florida memes
I think you forgot to mention that after WW2, Japan became a temporary satellite state of the USA during Macarthur's mandate.
Now nothing much has changed, Japan is still under the strong influence of the United States as well as Korea
That's just silly. Why not throw in Europe under the Marshall plan, or Eastern Europe after 1989 with NATO?
@@grizwoldphantasia5005 Europe wasn't literally leaded by a US Commander lol. Japan was under administrative and burocratic control of the US for a a short period of time after WW2.
Many things were not included like the US Virgin Isles
no puerto rico?
Look again.
@@grizwoldphantasia5005 should be a black circle until the end
A new video but it’s less than 2 minutes?!? Don’t play with me like this😢
Please make evolution of Asia, you made enough about Africa, Europe and the Americas. Colonization in Asia is more fire.
I'm proud to be an American 🇺🇲
You shouldn't be
Native American?
@@Hex___666eh, every country has a dark past. Not every country has helped save the world tho. And not every country has ended the cycle of multi continental war through inventing a weapon strong enough to make nations stop fighting.
Where at least I know I’m free
Bro proud of being a fascist
Is no one here going to talk about the gangsta music?
can we see the real American empire map?
the us has never given up the idea of annexing canada. canada has lots of water. the us has swimming pools ang golf courses in the desert
You Should've included the Confederate States during the American Civil War.
0:04 youre wrong. west of of the 13 colonies was not british but indian territory..
What about Cuba?
It was never a territory.
you forgot about liberia, otherwise great video
If this video was mirrored, streched sideways, and slowed down 2 times it would be Russia

I can't stand them... but they deserved a (not so honorable) mention.
@@jonjeskie5234 Can you stand all the crime that is happening right now? That wasn´t happening in those times?
@@PROVOCATEURSK enslaving some 15% of the population was the largest crime in US history.
The US never recognized the secession of those states and they were unsuccessful at breaking away, so they were still part of the US all along, though a cross hatched area for a few years would have been a good idea for clarity.
Really thought that you would speak😂
Where is native people
God Bless the United States of America and all of her citizens.
