Windows for Workgroups 3.11 On The Internet

This is a short video demonstrating Windows for Workgroups 3.11 on the internet, despite being it sluggish and not being able to fully handle the modern internet. You'll need to have a network card and TCP/IP installed to fully use the internet on Windows for Workgroups 3.11 or for networking purposes. However, you can still browse older websites using The Old Net. For web browsers Netscape Navigator 4.08 and Internet Explorer 5 is the highest version for Windows for Workgroups 3.11 that will work specifically with a 16-Bit OS.

It is great to have so many different versions of Windows because they all bring something different and special. I also use multiple versions of Windows on VirtualBox. My favourite one of all time is Windows XP.

My all time favorite is Windows 98 for mainly nostalgia and games. Windows 2000 is my other favorite. I mainly use 86Box for
WFW 3.11, Windows 9x, and NT4 while I use Win2K and XP in UTM.

@@DuranMedine Good to know your favourite version of Windows. My all time favourite version of Windows is Windows XP, regardless of which Service Pack edition I use.

That operating system is designed originally for networking. Even though it’s capable of using the internet.

I recommend using the 16-Bit version of Internet Explorer 5.

Hi I watching your Windows NT 4 video, and can you change the startup sound to Win 95?

You can change it to the Windows 95 startup sound, it’s under The Microsoft Sound.wav it’s located in C:\WinNT\Media the Windows NT 4.0 startup sound is under Windows NT Logon Sound.

Yes. The Windows 95 shutdown sound is tada.wav and Windows NT Logoff Sound.wav is the default Windows NT 4.0 shutdown sound.
