A little story for all the Shirley Bassey fans , I had a client many years ago and he told me when he was a young Man he took Shirley out to dinner , I said OH YEA pull the other one , I said why did you take her out , he said because she didn’t have any money . So many months went by and I met him again and he put a photo of himself and Shirley coming out of I think one of Billy Smarts Circus tents , well I nearly fell on the floor there he was holding hands with Miss Bassey , she looked amazing as normal , oh his name was ? Elmer , one lucky guy

She is fabulous. We have to remember she is a short lady, can afford the best footwear and lives a busy social life where she has to present herself as a Star and Dame. Everything is circumstancial.
