I was an M4 Whore for most of my 16 wipes. I haven't touched'em this wipe. The 5.45 Ak is just incredibly cheap to build and is dropping them easily. The ammo is easier to come by than the M4 as well.
feels like 5.45 is the most common ammo u can find and the ammo packs come with 120 bullets in it too, found alot of 120 BS packs this wipe

I guess it would make sense to find lots of it, considering it is the standard Russian military cartridge today.
While 5.56 still being available, even to civilians, you're just not going to find as much of it as 5.45.
AKS-74U slaps even with PS ammo as long as you're battling timmies and does pretty okay at 300yrds with 4x. Attachments and scopes have never been more available.
You can have a vertical grip, laser, flashlight all at lvl1. Loot the security room on the left tunnel facing the big ramp in the middle of Ground Zero for a suppressor for it, and it's a ripper.
Let's all pretend we didn't notice a scavcopter at 17:15 flying by.
in regards to the streets fps issues, the game is incredibly cpu bound using only a single CPU core. streets is CPU intensive, and lowering your graphics or raising certain ones can further exacerbate the issue. The only solutions is to get an X3D cpu which has an advantage even over higher single core speed intel cpus, or for bsg to fucking optimize the game to utilize more than a single core. I have a 16 core ryzen 5950x and theres no excuse for any video game to be cpu bound by that.

I was using the 74 you a good bit earlier in the wipe and got a bunch back when insurance finally got fixed/came back. How long after I got them back it's like something happened to them and the horizontal recoil is just horrible now.
That transition at 7:28 would be funny if you went to another screen and it was a 5 second clip of Tony getting killed and then moves to another screen of the actual next raid

Streets and fps consistency in general in EFT is all about ram, make sure you have a factory overclock profile enabled. For intel it's called xmp, for amd it's expo.

I had a glitch yesterday where I couldn’t jump and felt like I was floating while running lol another weird glitch that happened where my gun sight got far away and was out of center screen.

I use AK-74 with PSO and the thing just drops ppl dead. I think they changed bullet velocity/damage modifier so that short AK are not that deadly now.

Setup needs to be spread across maps.
They could do that with a lot of quests to be honest , spread stuff out to multiple maps if it requires you to kill scavs or pmcs
Wont change setup but they will make punisher pt 4 go from shoreline to lighthouse.
or at least a couple other choices, not because it would be easier but bc running the same map over and over gets a bit boring, esp when you don't have othrr tasks there
Tony, regarding frames, I have a 3080, 7800X3D, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM and still get lag/significant frame drops. I can't even run the game on High graphics settings; I had to turn most of the settings down to medium.
Absolutely insane to me.
I only have the problem when I zoom in on scoped guns .

You are having a different issue with your PC; those specs will run Tarkov at high settings just fine. You need to run a diagnostic and find the problem with your rig. My rig is $1000 less than yours and I run at High

Pro tip never voip if your position is hidden. That audio is extremely accurate compared to any other sound in the game. It immediately gives your position away with pin point accuracy
Tarkov is so camp mega right now. They really need to do something about the sound in the game. It’s just so unfun when nobody will move or even breathe when they hear footsteps. It’s just an endurance challenge of who can stand still the longest.
It’s makes sense why though. Most people aren’t W key warriors or lack the ability to not make major mistakes while moving around so just not moving is the safest bet.
I had a lot of lag and disconnect issues on customs last night but no where else.
DLSS won't help because tarkov is HEAVILY cpu and ram intensive. Streets is just badly optimized still, still needs work. When you turn on DLSS you're just making your CPU work harder which is why the FPS gets worse with it on. Turn down/off HBAO and SSR and that'll probably help more than anything. The scope also is another reason, when you use a scope it's basically rendering the game twice. Once outside the scope and another through the scope. It's done that way to keep the scope sharp. Most of the people in the chat have no idea what they're talking about lol

Yesterday I died 3 times in resort because 545BP didnt allow me to kill dudes with a lvl 3 or 4 armors, I swapped to BT and killed 7 dudes the next game and got the achievement.
Yep BP seems to be bugged this wipe but instead of 762 it's 545s turn
I had an interchange raid where a guy tanked 10 hits of bt and killed me. I only did like 240 damage to him. 545 is trash. Damage is too low and now that recoil is so good there is no reason not to just use an sa-58 or something.
My dude has top of the line CPU and GPU and still has problems with the fps in this game. Honestly Tarkov devs need to do better.

Best way to get fps for landmark is to disable nvidia reflex it gives you 30+ fps @landmark
I don't like intel processors but with a fkin 14900k and 4090 you should be able to play with at least 150fps on streets. Not sure if it is tarkov or your pc, but something isn't working correctly that's for sure.
It's tarkov, I have a 7950x3d and a 4090 and I get around 100 - 120 fps on streets its cooked
I have a 4090 i13900k at 5.6hz and 64gbs rM 5600hz and i have everything maxed and i get about 80 to 120 fps on streets with the low texture turned on if im close to the north the buring building drops my fps to around 90. I get like 180 to 200+ on interchange .
Forgot to say i dont use dlss as i hate not using native and tarkov doesnt have DLAA for the native 1440p and i feel the input delay dlss has.

is ps 5.45 ammo practically useless versus level 4 armor? the pen chance is really low apparently but i have no idea what that actually means
PS hardly pens level 3. Level 4 will stop it for sure. Somewhat useful are BT and above, as most of the players use class 4 armor now.

45. is unbearable now too, it literally does nothing, hit a dude with 23 out of 30 round from point blank range and he still survives, while his 5,45 PP 3 taps me to thorax, not to mention i was shooting AP and using a korund with 5-6 lvl plates and he had a fucking press.

It's not, especially with the AK-12. Especially if you aim for the head. Honest, I am farming raiders on Rerserve with a pistol these days because 9x19 PST just does the job, so really the meta is just whatever puts the most bullets on target at the range in play.
All the people in chag saying "i have a 3070 with dlss and i get higher frames" are so annoying they dont understand that dlss lowers resolution and then upscales it but not to native hes playing in native 1440p with everything maxxed out he should be getting 90fps to 140fps hes not lowering his game. I have the same as him but 64gbs ram vs his 32 and i see the same fps other then his streets tho i never drop below 80fps even when aiming likey his ram

Looks like coming out of and then immediately restarting the ADS animation to me. He strafes while doing it which probably exaggerated the jerk of the motion by swaying with inertia.

you actually want a better CPU; tarkov is not graphics intensive
And unfortunately to get a better CPU sometimes one needs to simultaneously get a different motherboard because of socket types and also buy faster RAM to accommodate for the CPUs faster timing.
From my experience though it doesn’t hurt getting a better GPU if you aren’t playing at the graphical fidelity you desire.
TL;DR CPU and RAM make the biggest difference in “performance” in Tarkov IMO
