I thought Scarlet Heart is the most heart breaking korean drama i've watched. I think My Golden Life is more heart breaking since it depicts reality. What breaks my heart the most in this series is their father's love for them (referring to Ji An's father).
Honestly I didn't cry easily but I can't hold my Tears anymore when her father died peacefully.
I don't know what's more heartbreaking. Tae-soo's undying love for his children, or Ji-an and Do-kyung's ill-fated love story.

She's a great actress and I decided to watch all her dramas and movies and after everything, the impact of My Golden Life is just so the best. Her other shows have very amazing story as well. What makes this love line so sweet is because they like each other deeply but are trying to control their feelings.

Park Sun Ye's voice perfectly tells the story of all the sadness, bitterness, sweetness, reality of the true relationship through this drama. The drama was so well told and played by Seo Jian (Hye Sun) and Dogyeong that i had my insides crushed over and over again and the pain tugged deep into my past life as though i was reliving those days. All the emotions and buried feelings of longing, regret, love, tenderness and bliss cannot be repeated anymore and are truly so cherishable. Although mostly sad, i would never lose those memories and will keep them deep inside forever. This song is like the emotional bridge to my soul that had died before.
I fell in love with this song...and I listen to it like every time. This song summarizes the whole drama at once. Perfect at it's perfection❤️🙌 PS: Thumbs up to the main leads and Ji An's Father extraordinary acting👍🙌

Dari situlah saya saya sangat berniat menontonnya. Dan dilihat ternyata ada 52 eps. Kemudian saya langsung menontonnya saya selesaikan dalam 5 hari.
Drama ini banyak memiliki pesan dan kesan yang mendalam. Di drama ini ada rasa kekeluargaan yang erat, kisah percintaan, dan sahabat. Drama ini mempengaruhi saya, seketika perasaan ini berubah menjadi bahagia kadang merasa sedih. Ini merupakan drama Korea kekeluargaan terbaik di dalam hidup saya. . Disini ajusshi seo taesu adalah seorang ayah yang kuat, tegar, penyayang, serta peduli terhadap keluarga apapun diberikan untuk anak-anak nya walaupun ia memendam rasa sakitnya sendirian. Namun pada akhirnya dia mengidap kanker karena khayalannya dan juga mungkin faktor keturunan dari ibunya. Saya sangat respect terhadap ajusshi seo taesu dan jian bagaimana mereka menguatkan satu sama lain. Namun pada akhirnya ajusshi seo taesu menghembuskan nafas terakhirnya ketika melihat anak-anaknya kembali bahagia. Saya menangis sesegukan karena ajusshi seo taesu akhirnya menemukan tempat baru. Kisah yang sangat menyedihkan. Drama Korea ini sangat berarti bagi saya karena drama ini secara langsung menyatakan hubungan yang erat antara ayah dan anak perempuannya. Contohnya adalah saya. Saya adalah anak bungsu yang sangat dekat dengan ayah saya. My Golden Life is a very good story to learn from.
It had me glued on the screen from start to finish.
I never thought i will be able to finish this 52 episode series but i did. That i wondered why i endured those many so-so 16 episode series even though i've look at My Golden Life's very good reviews and ratings before.
The father did all that he can to love his family, and the wife and children did their part too. It's a beautiful thing and it's heartfelt.
For me, this is something to cherish for a long long time.

Love this drama - the story, the performance, the ost. Most of all the pace of the story - it is so natural like watching real simulation of life. The development of the story is not forced to keep with the short series like others. I really enjoy watching the whole 52 series and can stop at any time without feeling guilty to take a break.
