dude I know what you mean, there is only one person in my town who also likes the same style of music and he is also the only black person I know who likes rock and metal.
Probably because white people are conditioned from birth, in the USA, to be hyper sensitive to the black race. That's why. If black people want us to stop being "triggered" all the time then lay down that race card so I can put away the white guilt that your race has instilled in me.
I love this. I hate to make everything a race issue, but I'm a black woman and I really like heavy metal. I love neoclassical metal and the musicians who play this type of music! These are my favorite genres, though many will list neoclassical metal as a sub of heavy metal.

Which takes skill and practice. Something the gamer kids of today will never know. So glad I learned to play when I was younger. Maybe it's because despite metal having its roots in traditionally 'black' music, and the metal community being largely inclusive, black metal fans (I mean black people who are fans of metal, not people who are fans of black metal) are kinda rare, so it's unusual to see a young black person enjoying the genre.
