I started watching this show because of the friendship of Aaron and Adam. Long love the friendship of these 2 lads.

Geez, Aaron didn't open his mouth today...butI looooove Adam (well, I love Jackson as well), he's the best mate ever! His dialogue (hem, monologue) sounded totally sincere. I hope Aaron realizes someday the great people that surround him (Paddy, Adam, Marlon).

If I were Aaron, I'd have little or NOTHING to say to Aaron as well. Adam treated him like crap previously, spreading the "rumor" that Aaron was Gay to any and everyone that would listen BEFORE Aaron was ready to come to grips with it himself. Constantly nagging and threatening. And NOW he wants to be his mate and alright with it? There's nothing to be alright about as Gay is Gay. He should have been alright in the beginning. So yeah Aaron, give him the cold shoulder and live your life.

Everyone seems to think Adam says "I know" just before he leaves.
I thought he said "Or not" as in call me or not.
@JESSJUSTJESS Yes, and that I find Aaron's giving Adam the cold shoulder understandable doesn't mean that it's deserved. I like the consistency of the characters in this show. Adam wants to be mates, while Aaron rejects acceptance.
@JESSJUSTJESS I hate how when I click on thumbs up, the count changes in maybe a couple of hours. It used to be instantaneous. Maybe it only changed on my screen and wasn't global, but if so, I at least enjoyed the illusion.

@mycatfox Yes, Adam is trying to be a good mate now, but he's not the best mate ever. Adam was the jerk who went around trying to out Aaron, when Aaron wasn't ready, albeit partly to protect his sister. It must be galling to Aaron that Adam was the first unwanted witness to his kissing Jackson. As long as Aaron doesn't accept himself, he's fairly impervious to acceptance from others, especially Adam. Presumably their friendship will sort itself out, although on this show the pace may be glacial.

@frozenbaby2004 Yeah! That's exactly what should have happened--spend Friday night with his love interest. No pressure, just get to know each other. Unfortunately, being spotted by Adam ruined it for Aaron. No wonder he gives Adam the cold shoulder. Not that Aaron is being rational, but his hostile, tortured behavior is understandable, given the depth of his own homophobia.
He's handling this like an ass, his friend is letting him know all is well and he's there for him and he gives the silent treatment, seriously?
he should be thankful that was all he did and he didn't get a beating.

As for the rest of the Emmerdale community, GET A life - LMAO. I have never seen a group of people as concerned about everyone's business. JEEZ, no wonder poor Aaron is secretive and withdrawn. It may take a village to raise a child, but NOT to help a boy come out. That is a private affair. Stop the innuendos. And Aaron, start spending MORE time with Jackson. The boy is HAWT and cares about you.
