Why You ALWAYS Want To Buy Pasture Raised Eggs At The Store!

- We have talked about pasture raised eggs many times, but I think it's time to take it up a notch. If you are willing to pay the premium for pasture raised eggs, get the organic or the non-GMO variety, it's really worth it. Otherwise the chickens are eating a supplemental feed of GMO grains, which defeats some of benefits of eating pasture raised eggs in the first place. Pasture raised eggs are better than any other egg on the market, just look at the stats, much higher nutritional profile and it's better for the planet. You can find pasture eggs nationwide now, so try it out and see how much more orange the yolk is and how they taste better. Mad love..Bobby, Dessi, Rose, and Art! XOXO

Thanks for the visual! I was just making the same list in my head after watching 😃
tf is forage fed?
Thanks

Here in the PNW Wilcox farms pasture raised eggs have yolks as deep orange as happy egg heritage.
I discovered vital farms through you and I love them. They are the best eggs, their Orange yolks are so vibrant and their taste can't be beat.
Iris loves life I am buying vital farms in black box , love it. But now Bobby said those still get GMO .. have find organic ones. Which ones do you get?
@@sweetmalinka711 I just buy the one in the blue container from Costco because it's the cheapest price I've seen. $30. Not sure if it's organic or not
Iris loves life; In which state are u in? In my city Costco only carry Kirkland eggs.
@@MsPakistan47 I unfortunately can't get vital farms at Costco, I just buy them from my local grocery store.
Good nfo!
Have you ever lied even once, stolen anything, used God’s name in vain, looked with lust or worse sexual sins? Then you are not a good person in God’s eyes and in danger of the judgement of God which will send you to hell because you sinned against an all-powerful infinite God. Remember God is the Holiest such that one small lie will induce his severe wrath. Good news is Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead so that you may receive forgiveness of AALL YOUR SINS (No matter how bad or how many). But you are not forgiven unless you REPENT OF YOUR SINS & BELIEVE IN JESUS AS YOUR GOD (repentance means turning from sin and doing your absolute best not to do it again, also ask Jesus to rid you of addictions that you are struggling to shake away=James 4:7). God has blessed us with Great food to eat (kings in the past do not eat like we do today), shelter, freedoms, fun, medicine, pets to enjoy their company, friends, nice music to listen to and many more things to enjoy. Yet we do not give him thanks, blaspheme his HOLY name etc God wants to give the free gift of eternal life (9999999999999999999999999… years of extreme happiness) but we need to humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways. Believe in Jesus (God wants to have a relationship with you like a father and his children). 14 Blessed are those who [g]do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 [h]But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
Wow, after binge-watching I've learned about natural flavors, spices and now eggs.
I'm so happy
I am continuing to love the shorts; they give great information in a time-span that I have the time to watch.
Thanks for defining the difference between Non GMO and Organic. I need to keep hearing it because I forget easily.
Same
Yes!
That's not a correct explanation of the difference between organic and non-GMO. Non-GMO is conventional. Non-GMO allows the use of chemical herbicides like life of seats, chemical insecticides human waste fertilizers, hormones, and pharmaceuticals. USDA certified organic does not allow any of that. GMO free is a bullshit marketing term and it should just be called conventional. Labeling eggs GMO free is inherently misleading because consumers have the idea that human waste fertilizers, Chemical and Herbicides Chemical and Insecticides, Pharmaceuticals, Hormones are also not allowed and that is not true GMO free allows all of that USDA Certified Organic does not
Happy Belated Birthday Bobby! Wishing you the best in the coming year . Thank you for all you do! You are appreciated more then you kn

I buy local pasture raised eggs! I love it because they welcome visitors to their farm and you can see exactly how the chickens are treated. When those aren’t available, I go with the vital farms organic pasture raised. The yolks are a vibrant, deep orange!
Love these short, quick videos! 😁
LOVE these shorter videos with a wealth of information! Thank you!
Great info Bobby. Thanks!
So many tricky labels! Thanks for breaking this down and making it simple! 👍

You are the best. Thank you for being so helpful with all this complex information. From now on I will be purchasing organic pasteurized eggs.
Thanks Bobby ! Learned so much about eggs !
Thanks Bobby and Art! Love the short videos. Any recommendations on vegan mayonnaise?
Thank you for sharing this video! I love Costco and I am so glad to see you mentioned the Kirkland Organic Pasteurized eggs because it is definitely a good price!
We always have bought organic eggs and we’re super excited to see the eggs are NOW pasture raised at Costco
Thanks for the shout out and the great eggucation!
Trying to raise my kids on better food than I grew up on so thank you for all your information!
BOBBY, YOU ARE GREAT!!!! THANK YOU. WE NEED TO KNOW THESE THINGS....
My local Sprouts had organic pasture raised eggs on sale for $3.49 when they’re regularly $5/dozen. I was so tempted to buy them out lol you really can tell the difference in flavor and color. Love those deep amber yolks!
Just downloaded your app and I was scanning everything in my house for fun. I was surprised by some of my “healthy” food not being so healthy…. When I scanned my eggs I was even more surprised then clicked this video to know why. I feel so much more in control with your app!! Thank you.
Very nice tips Bobby
It is indeed the new year 2022! Thx for the info.
I start eating pasture raised eggs after watching your you tube video. Thank you!
Thank you Bobby for helping me to eat better and take care of my temple.
It's great that you have so many options for pasture raised eggs and great prices. Small towns like where I live it's one company and they're $6.00 a dozen!!!
The vital farms organic ones are 6.99 and the other one thats not organic is 5.49.
Never heard of vital farms. 6.99/7.00 potAto, potato
@@notashapace1473 $6.99?!?! That's crazy! And that's not pasture raised?
Organic pasterized eggs from vital farms 6.99 for non organic 5.49 from the same brand. But standard eggs range from .79 to 1.50 for basic medium eggs depending on store and sales.
Notasha Pace do you buy organic? I thought vital farms in black box are good.
What do you think of the Pasture Raised Organic Eggs from Costco? They are the best priced Pasture Raised Eggs overall but the yolks are more yellow than the Vital Farms Pasture Raised Eggs which are a nice Orange Color
I noticed the same, I don’t think they are Pasture Raised at Costco. Maybe something fishy going on with Kirkland. 🤷🏽♂️
Wow, thank you!
Will buy all while am in usa in may for my cousin graduation will share the video with my mom love your stories and food made me hungry as always love your hauls videos soooooooooooooo much drooling over my samsung galaxy j4 love your dad amd stories always brighten up my day love your recipes making me hungry Thanks Ramya
I'm so glad I found this channel year's ago
Thank you Bobby!
I live in NC & my Costco has the pasture raised organic eggs! Best price & delicious!! 🥚😋
Yeah I get the Organic Pasture raised eggs from Costco every time. So good :D
# keep on cooking, mad love and peace .
Could you do a video on best bulk food deals in stores, online, distributors, etc? Thanks!
My God your grocery store has a HUGE selection. I've never seen this kind of selection at any grocery store I've been to.
Thanks for this. Would you be able to address egg whites? Is there a pature raised organic product out there? BTw I've been using the Ap and it's been helpful! Thanks.
Thanks to you, VF pasture-raised eggs are all we'll buy and eat. We're completely spoiled now and even other pasture-raised eggs don't compare in color and taste.
Thank you
Regarding that recent recall of hard boiled eggs for listeria from a huge plant in GA. It processes eggs for everyone from Walmart to Vital Farms and Farmers Hen House. It makes me suspicious how much confidence we can have in any type of labeling. I would believe the pasture raised label only if I could see the farm itself!
In my area I can only find a non-organic black case vital farms eggs. Is it better to eat those or free range organic eggs?
Hey Bobby, the vital farm nonorganic pasture raised eggs have darker orange yolk than the Costco organic pasture raised eggs. Which one is better?
Are there any alternative options for people who don't have pasture raised eggs available in their area (ex: Food Deserts, etc) or do people have to buy the regular eggs regardless? I know that there are people who have this problem.
Also anyone know anything about Nellies and Pete and Gerry Eggs? Supposedly P&G eggs are technically Pasture raised but they're marketed and Free Range eggs. They're also Certified Humane and USDA Organic. So it's a bit confusing. Their eggs taste pretty good though!
My Costco in Lone Tree CO has grass-fed eggs!! I’ve never seen them here before! I didn’t see your book here unfortunately.
Hi Bobby! I liked your video. How I can buy your shopping guide?
when the price goes down, i will start getting pasture raised. right now the pasture raised in my town is about 4x the price of conventional.
I feel the same as you but when will the price come down?
I mean...how much can it come down...?
@@ronbloomberg with some government push and competition. in canada there is some pressure from the government to improve quality of chickens and eggs at farms. and when more companies compete prices automatically go down. in the east a lot of people get their eggs from the farm. in Lahore most eggs come from chicken who eat mainly bugs and worms.
@@asadb1990 .. I think I'll just buy a few chickens instead. 😃
@@ronbloomberg yeah but knowing canada and usa, they are probably gonna be plenty of red tape in the city to make process not so cost effective
ouch!! i feel ya
Could you touch bases on nuts/peanuts? Maybe seasonings too?
My store only has the vital farms that you had in your video. Not the non gmo. Is that still good?
In regards to a video where you and this other gentleman were e saying we should eat the black container Vital farms eggs because those eggs are rated high on a organic egg list? Or was that video in comparison to what was at the store.
My local grocery store does not sell pasture raised eggs. I bought some from Trader Joe's, but they didn't look any different than the regular eggs. We don't have a Whole Foods where we live. I can't wait to have our own chickens in the spring. 😊
I live in California and picked up the Costco pasture raised yesterday. We got all the good stuff here - meat and veggies - super fresh local line caught omega-3 packed seafood at our farmers markets. Don't know why you moved to Florida. :-) (except to avoid our taxes of course - not the best).
Love your show and the app .. please try to answer my egg question
I was fooled by the marketing “cage free” “free range” gimmicks for years until now! Thanks Bobby
East Coast (NC) Costco now has organic pasture-raised eggs at half the price of a vital farms.
Bobby what about Pete and Gerry's????
Damn, west coast costco with the pasture raised organic eggs. Literally half the price for me in NYC. I would like to look into their supply chain for that though.
Do they have these at the Costco in NYC?
South (Texas) Costcos have them also
Thank you so much Bobby! I've learnt alot through you! May the Lord Jesus keep on blessing you and your family as you keep on blessing us with all the information 🙏
What do you think about the "HAPPY EGG COMPANY"? I bought a dozen of those at mariano's less week and the yolk was verry Orange More than the vital farms ones. So I was wondering if they're the best for the money,Because is it good price.
Can you asses the quality of the egg by certain characteristics like the colour of the yolk & shell thickness.
I choose a certain brand of eggs because of the deep orange yolks & thicker egg shells. Pasture raised labels haven't reached our shores yet I don't think.
Thank you for this review. I have been buying the Vital Farms brand for last couple of years and eat anywhere from 2 to 6 a day everyday. So yummy and gives me the energy I need on a daily basis.
Judy Sentell do you get organic ones or In black box?
Sweet Malinka Organic is best especially if you have corn/soy allergy
Do the pasture raised eggs last as long as conventional ones? I’m not a big egg eater and I wouldn’t want them to go to waste.
What are your thoughts on having raw eggs with fresh OJ in the morning??
Here forward that’s the only kind I’m getting now! #pastureraised 🙌🏻⚡️💯❤️💪🏻💥✌🏻
Are the Costco pasture raised eggs good? Those yolks are pretty bright yellow, not as deep of an orange as the vital farms ones.
What are the best egg whites in a box to buy?
How do the Costco organic pasture-raised eggs compare to those from Vital Farms? I buy mine from Costco.
i now only eat pasteurized eggs thanks to your videos (:
Can u do a video on the best fish to buy?
I just bought pasture raised at Trader Joe's yesterday. Not organic :-(. Love the short videos!!
Hey Bobby, what's your take on the Happy Egg Co. Organic eggs? They say they are on 8 acre pasture. I picked some up to try. Thanks for the reply! Happyegg.co
Who knew the decade ago, A one food passionate guy ( flavcity) would come and changed the consumer buying behavior by educating food, which companies using those market tactics to fool consumers. I can already see in 2020 Consumer would be more educated with their food choice with the perspective. Thanks and more power to this guy
Trader Joe’s carries Chino Valley Ranchers Pasture Raised Eggs for around $3.99/dozen
I just bought some the other day THEN I see in another one of his videos that those aren't the best ones to buy?? 😳😳😳
I buy Nellies certified humane, combo of pasture and grain (non gmo) can’t afford to buy vital farms. Real good flavored eggs, yolk is vibrant yellow and they don’t upset my stomach like regular eggs would. That’s the best I can do on my budget.
Bobby could you do a video on cartoon liqud egg whites. If you already have could you share the link.
Thanku I love your videos. Im a ful-time nursing student with kids on a strick buget in New york city. I sometimes buy items at the dollar store. Can you please review the "Dollar Tree" store. Thank you & Blessings to you & your family ✌👍🏼🙏🎉
I just run out back and to grab my eggs 😉🥚🐓
Vital farms are pasture raised but not organic? Still good?
or find a small local farmer who has free range organic fed pasture raised hens. i sell organic non gmo fed pasture free ranged eggs for 5.00 and lose money every month ;( but i try to help others with REAL food. we pay 26. for a 40 lbs bag of organic non gmo feed, and they get to eat bugs and grass and flowers etc. what chickens are supposed to be eating. people can taste the difference in how an egg is suppoosed to taste and a supermarket egg . dont be surprised if you pay 7.00 in the stores for them.
Flavcity fam are Happy Egg Co free range eggs good or not?
Wow I was hoping you were going to explain exactly how much more nutrition we are getting in the pasture-raised eggs vs other eggs. :( That's what convinces me to buy differently.
Why aren’t the Costco pasture raised, organic eggs as orange as other pasture raised eggs?
The chickens are most likely fed more feed and don't spend as much time outside they can probably get away with calling them pasture-raised LOL that's a good question I'd like to know myself
Can someone help me please I am buying Red Hill pasture raised eggs are they okay ??? Thanks
Recently my Costco and Vital Farms pasture raised eggs have had pale yellow yolks instead of dark orange. It bums me out. Why is this? Is it because it's winter?
katkni yolk color is based on diet. Certain bugs and flowers make the yolk deeper in color.
Always Organic 💖
I remember when I used to not spend $6.99 on a dozen of eggs when I went to the grocery store 🤷🏻♀️ #boujee #vitalfarms no turning back
Are Pete and Gerry’s free range outdoor forage vegetarian fed non gmo ok ????
How about Happy Egg Co? Says "organic, freest of the free range, pasture raised on over 8 acres" also says hormone free, pesticide free, and antibiotic free. Good option if don't have ones you suggested?
Oh No , But ....you recommended vital farms the black carton before.
Cristina Andrea I know he did say the black carton was good, now he said it isn't?!😕But he also uses non-stick cookware which is really bad!!Sending mixed messages!!💁
Peachy Hall well, he actually did not said it’s bad but just not the best. Good to know though
Vital farms eggs at Trader Joe’s for $4.99
Best price I’ve seen for them anywhere
Organic version?
