Women can barely walk after childbirth. Babies need round the clock care. Women are supposed to breastfeed. That is biologically normal. Females and males are biologically different. I have been following this woman before Mahsa death. Back in July I started seeing women in Iran taking their hijabs off and I supported them. I am so sad and at the same time so glad for Mahsa.. I remember working with a young woman years ago who was dating a young man from Iran who was here for his education. He came from a very wealthy family and was constantly buying her expensive gifts. He even bought her a new car. But in exchange, he completely controlled her. She could never go out with her friends and she certainly could never go out with her coworkers after work, because he expected her to come straight home. Women from that part of the world have no rights, no identity.

I told him it was actually very horrible and how it threw women in prison for not wearing hijab. He actually denied it! So I said (for the benefit of others who were reading) that they should go to the twitter of Masih. It was amazing, the moment I used her name he was convinced I was an Iranian woman! In reality I'm an American Jewish man haha. He wouldn't believe I wasn't Iranian and started writing me in Persian how much he liked fiesty woman haha, and then another guy started to write me in Persian lol It was pretty surreal.
Amanpour and Alinejad and all these brave Iranian women are my heroes.

I 100% agree and support Masih Alinejad's statement showing my solidarity as Catholic. To me, human life is precious and it's more sacred to the world that is given by god himself. Mashsa Amini and all other victims of the brutal regime and its I.R.G.C. (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) who are known to themselves (islamic regime) as "Revolutionist against all Societies/Civilization" has not knowing the True Religion of Islam; are the future to bring all Iranian Men, Women, and Children to the light by standing up for themselves and have their voices heard and spread nationwide and worldwide to earn their freedom and liberty to bring peace to all nations.
Sanctions never make things better, it only worsen the suffering of the people, not the regime. Best solution is to open more contact sources to connect Iranian people with the rest of the world. For example, lifting sanctions on communication technologies, which they have already done. Further isolation only feed the Islamic regime.

It should now be obvious that good people of the world must push their leaders to do something different in the long term. The definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result. Human nature is not going to change, so those with the power to do so, must reverse the global market race-to-the-bottom that empowers violent and dysfunctional governments. (Even the Western democracies that support rogue states for minerals need to be put under pressure)
Instead of complicated and inconsistent sanctions, it would be simpler, and far more effective, for pro-democratic countries to just to put massive taxes on all imports, and only give waivers to other democratic countries; then give incremental discounts as incentives to non-democratic countries for democratic and human rights improvements. Free trade, should only be with free people.
Why incentives? - People love discounts, bonuses and prizes, but hate mandates. Any successful system must work with nationalistic pride, not against it.
The policy must also be consistent. Free trade with China, but no trade with North Korea does not provide a clear message.
Write your representative today and demand consistent, incentive based economic pressure. Until all leaders are accountable to all of their citizens, and the incentives for oppression are eliminated, nothing will change.
And the icing on this cake - instead of adding costs to taxpayers; an incentive based policy would create an economic boom for every country that uses it.
