- This bike cost £50 how long will it last? - Cheap bike challenge is back and this full suspension mountain bike gets the hardest ride of it life to see how long it will actually survive for, would you ride this cheap MTB?
The cheap bike challenge series is back and i found an absolute beauty for this episode, say hello to the £50 full suspension bike with a front disc brake and a rear v brake setup that barely works. The front suspension is also mega wobbly and the interenals have been pushed out, so it seems only right to head over to twisted oaks bike park and hit the biggest MTB lines they have and hope the bike doesn't break on impact. After surviving the bike park it was time to head into the urban environment and hit some urban freeride locations and crazy stair sets of doom. But for how long will this bike keep rolling? To finish off the video I get out my Canyon Stitched cfr TRIALS bike and shred!! Would you ride this bike if you found it?

@@coachcurt7606 I used to be one and remember many occasions a £50.00 catalogue or Halfords special bike coming in needing new cranks and pedals and it costing more than the whole bike was

what keeps bringing me back to this channel is the way that it nonchalantly celebrates the way that when you've built up an incredible amount of skill, you can have a great time regardless of equipment, and you're less likely to face consequences for your idiocy. Love it. Makes me want to go out and practice practice practice.

Sam and Lewi, true masters of their art. Lewi trained as a stealthy cameraman who wants to laugh hysterically at his brother's antics but remains truly poised and focused to bring us epic footage and action shots.
Sam, truly a master of the bike and how to have fun on said equipment. He can literally turn any bicycle/tricycle into the ultimate fun machine whether for urban, trails or tracks. It truly is an art form and they are absolutely masters of it. Yes please Sam a full trials bike video would be awesome!
Can we all take a second to respect that this £50 bike survived the bike park despite Sam riding it like he'd stolen it.

they didnt look bent... and suntour forks are insanely strong just so you know but you probably wouldnt considering you never broke a fork and pushed it past its limits...@@bermchasin
@@monkeh55 Ive broken a couple forks in my day. Starting off on my schwinn aerostar. A fork can survive a ride without being a nice fork.
Sam you should make a bike yourself by hand and document it. Learning to weld, no big deal!

I have to say this is the only yt channel which doesn't annoy me with ads. They are well integrated, short and funny, in a way that sometimes you almost don't even notice them or in a way that you even want to buy the stuff. I even bought Monster, even though I usually prefer healthy groceries. 😂
I usually hate ads and I have a CZcams abo to see as less as possible. If ads would always be that funny and well integrated in the content, I wouldn't have to put so much effort into avoiding them.

Looks similar to my two POS Vertical PK7's...on one I swapped rear spring for a 165mm DNM air shock but that made it a pogo stick no matter how much air I pumped innit. Nice to know Mr Pilgrim ripped it well and likes it, but we know he can make any POS bike look amazing. My plans are to install a CYC pro mid-Drive motor , a $75 rear 190mm hydro/coil shock(Amazon) and my trusty 100-120mm RockShox Tora 289 (coil)...and a mickey mouse 🐭 bell for the handlebar

Wow, that motul stuff must be amazing. It manages to minimize friction betwenn cassette/chainring and the chain when applied from the opposit side. Got to get myself that chainlube
If you hit the bike lock-up hops on the first go… you need to buy a cheap bike and durability test it before every trials sesh. You looked loose and warmed up nicely when you pulled the trials bike out. That bike looks so nice!
Definitely want to see a full session on the trials bike.

I just came by a 1998 k2 proflex 3000 that reminds me of this bike, minus the front fork of course, (the proflex front fork is awesome looking imo). I was/am tepid to use it, but after seeing this video I think I'm gonna put a little work into it and take it out this spring.

What the hell, that's my old bike? No way!
The base plate under the crank is very thin and will crack under this sort of pressure. I had mine replaced with a 3mil plate, never let me down. Loved that bike, think it was an old GT but not 100% sure, bought it of a smack head for £60. Upgraded the forks and gave it the shimano diore gear system. Absolutely bullet proof.
