If you have FTL and no way to somehow cancel out kinetic impacts, then you only have a good way to die. Mind, given what happened here, it sounds like these idiots were just not willing to fire first, since they held the weapons facing them in contempt.

Well sounds like its gonna evolve to a halos ship slug thrower
A heavily armored ship resistant to plasma because of layers but they deal massive damage
Never ignore the classics but improve on them
