- A Mississippi man says he got more than a pizza from his Oxford Pizza Hut delivery driver on June 25, 2023.
Jamerious Archie opened his door to receive his order when the white driver called him a racial slur.

This man clearly did not just casually drop the N-word in the middle of a kind and friendly interaction. I mean obviously... It's profoundly disturbing to see so many adults, that I'm meant to take seriously, actually present this as an instance of racism that warrants a lawsuit and any attention whatsoever.
He very obviously didn't use that racial slur - but let's pretend for a moment that he had; it's clear from the context that he would have been using it as a casual term of endearment in much the same way black people do with one another. Now obviously these sorts of white people don't exist anymore - but I grew up in a big city and there were certain black neighborhoods that had a handful of white kids that grew up there (often had black family and such); and those were the only white kids that would use the n word in that way. Far from being a sign of racism, it was just a consequence of them adopting the culture and parlance of the community that was in fact their own (it's where they grew up, it's all they knew).
That could never happen anymore because of how ridiculous the culture has become about that word - but back then nobody cared because it was very evident that it wasn't being used as an insult....
But that's all pretty irrelevant because in this case he literally didn't even say it, and all the people involved in this case and in this comment section need to take a good hard look in the mirror and ask themselves if they haven't become totally detached from reality.
The completely imaginary conception many of these black people have about what white people are secretly like is batshit insane and to be candid - very dumb.

The driver should counter sue those people for Defamation and Emotional Distress.

That isn’t racial. Some companies do not allow deliveries to neighborhoods that have a high theft or assault likelihood. Many companies have had their delivery people robbed, attacked or killed. Some companies don’t allow it for insurance reasons. Others just want to keep their employees safe.
I used to work for a large salty snack company as a route salesman. I used to work on routes of guys that were hurt, on vacation, etc. I pulled up to an account and the woman said “park on the other side of the building. They won’t notice you over there as quickly. Get your order together inside your truck. Keep it locked until your ready to come in. I’ll be watching for you.” I thought that she was completely paranoid. The next week a beer vendor was shot dead in the same spot I had been.

Sorry to disappoint you but not every delivery person is broke. Some people deliver pizzas to supplement their incomes and afford the nice homes and vehicles they have. Met one guy who worked at Dominos whose father owned a hotel and gave him a $36,000 BMW back in the 80s after asking him to quit and relocate elsewhere. @@alexstein934 Yeah it's messed up everyone saying "You know where he works; Get him!" We don't know if this black homeowner says it, and I do think it is fair to fire the guy if he is just pulling up to houses and dropping a hard R. Still, it is a word. There is a sense of respect you should have for others, just like I wouldnt deliver a pizza to a gay man and casually call them a f*g. There was nothing threatening about the interaction though so at worst he was very insulting. I just think that isn't what he said. The tone of voice makes it hard to believe.
