Woah!? This is insanely cool and amazing! Major respect mah man ♡♡♡ MW4 Mercs, now MW4 BK, any plans on remastering MW4 Vengeance too in 2024-2025? I was thinking about running all MW4 .avi files to have them reworked by an AI to improve the quality of the campaign's briefing, I'm not an expert, but I've seen some cool results for old games's cinematics. I guess I'll have to keep them as .avi files and same resolution though, I highly doubt it would run in-game as .mp4 files. I will have do some testing when I'll manage to have some free time Anyway, Subs+ to you! You are amazing! Thank you for sharing your great work and putting so much effort into preserving the game and making it enjoyable and playable again on modern hardwares.
Would be neat to increase the ratio of Inner Sphere mechs to Clan mechs, Clan mechs should be pretty rare. Also if you could do more canon variants and have the AI use them too, for more enemy variety (like how Mechwarrior 3 had enemies using the variants). Would you be willing to release a version with default weapons audio too? I could mod it myself, but would be nice to have the default audio as an option. It's super iconic to me.

Awesome. How do you get so close to mechs that explode without taking too much damage? Is that damage output something you edit right off the bat when you start modding these games?
I was going to say that it's a quirk of how singleplayer versus multi works with MW4, since in single player mech explosions only hurt when the actual boom happens as opposed to multi where the first frame of the entire animation hurts. But that last Chimera he killed at the end should definitely have caused him enormous pain and heat gain, so either it's part of the modding or it's a bug. Maybe the former, given I think mech explosions in MW5 are painless.
They can use Mouse and Keyboard, but the controls need to be changed to match current play styles. For example, throttle was controlled using the number keys and torso/legs were with the arrow keys. If you're used to joystick, stick with joystick.
Sorry, but two clan LB20X on a shadowcat? Not realistic at all. You need to shave half the armor to get all of that to fit with a 200XL engine, and that is with only 3 tons of ammunition

my problem with mw4 is the clunky torso movement and that annoying torso whining sound. sole reason i dont play mw4
