I love when undoubtedly good guys back torts. Hes my favorite coach of all time (as a habs fan!) He cares about his guys, cares about winning and then we saw how he responded to the kyle beech situation. Just completely open, raw and caring response. I remember it being pretty emotional. People like to flip his in game temperament to thats how he must treat everyone else in the world outside of hockey but actually you hear its pretty much the opposite

Thanx for the memories Biz. I remember the first time I skated with G. The kids I played with were mostly the coast and Brock kids so I really didn't want a kid out of the O on the team, but Devo said he's not drafted but he is pretty sarcastic Chinner, so he will fit right in, so Devo brought him out. His first shift it was like watching some kid try to kick shit off his boots and i thought the kid would get spun like a top out there. After my first shift skating with the kid I realised he was one of the smartest hockey players on the planet. Near the end of the year the Brock boys (bones, duce, harpy, delhi etc ) were talking about winning it all with G on d. I said sorry boys, somebodies gonna work on that kids foot speed and he will be in the show in a year. I remember calling up Carol around the 18 month mark and saying your boy is making a liar out of me. I said he would be in the show 6 months ago, and she laughed and said the Ranger d is scared of the corners. Nobodies gonna get hurt on that team. A few weeks later a Ranger dman found a corner and got a boo boo. G never looked back.
A couple years later G told me you wanted to play with us. I said awesome. I hate playing against him and Belange'. BTW not sure many people know you were a really good d'man and u and Chris were the best d pair in that summer league. Then he said Ya but he wants to play forward and i said not on my f'ing line. He was few million bucks a year better than me so he got his way. My back is still soar from that summer. Just sayin.. lol Cheers bro

I used to work for the company that did the concrete at G's place on the river..I brought in the first load of concrete for the footings on the house..my buddy was running the pump truck and is a HUGE Bruins fan...there may OR may not be a Bruins logo drawn in the footings of your hose Dano.

Debrincat cannot drive offense by himself he needs to play with high level players that’s why he had career numbers playing with Kane. I think he’ll do decent is Detroit he’ll probably be slightly better than what he was in Ottawa
Im basically confirming what the other guy said but thats as good of a deal anyone would get for the Cat, whether he's worth it or not. He is absolutely not a play driver so its good that he'll be on the first line in Detroit instead of playing on the 2nd line with a rookie 3C as his center since Norris was injured. As a Sens fan though, I am glad the whole DeBrincat saga is over and I am fine with the return, all things considered.

Nylander disappears any time the lights come on. Like they said, they're also including AAV in the talk, 7.7m vs 10m for 2 guys who have very similar numbers. Can talk about Debrincats production being attached to Kane, but nylander plays with Matthews, Marner etc and still disappears
