I dont care what anyone says...Tukka was usually 90% of the reason the Bs ever won in the playoffs..
And when they lost his head was always on the chopping block..
Im a lifelong pens fan who hates the bruins..
But he was an awesome goalie..the way a lot of the fans ripped him was just bush league...
Tuukka was elite, any other franchise would've killed to have him. Bruins top stars disappeared in the big moments and gave him no support, robbed him of two Conn Smythes and Cups.
@@DrZaius Game 7 in '19 they brought the house in the first, then fizzled. The game really was over after the first, not only on the scoreboard, but just the level of play.
@@PeteNice29 Marchand literally skated off the ice and gave the Blues an easy odd-man situation for no reason. Before that you had Carlo just standing around to let O'Reilly deflect a point shot. Both of those soft plays set the tone for the rest of the game. Everyone else disappeared after the first and the dribbling morons that are Bruins fans blamed Rask for all of it.

I’ve never been a Boston fan but I always liked Tuukka and thought he was one of the best goaltenders of his era.

Rask freak outs are the best. I remember him loosing his blade in the playoffs against Tampa and after he got scored on he threw it at the boards.

I was so happy that TO traded Tuukka to Bean town, being a Habs fan it was awesome to see him and Price battle. I truly miss them both. At least Bruins can still play playoff hockey.

See, once you become a hockey fan and not a home town fan, it all becomes fun. Chris Nilan went to my highschool and I love him as a Hab. Great guy to pass few minutes' time with too, Chris is actually a regular dude if given the chance. Beliveau was one of the best ever. I gave LaFluer a standing ovation...at the old Boston garden. So did the rest of the crowd! At the same place he was spit on way back. We appreciated him. Only Hab I really don't like is Lemieux but I don't "hate" him. Love Dryden's book. So start being a hockey fan instead of cherishing hatreds. The fans take that shit way further than most players, and it's dumb.

As a Boston native, the guy has a _tiny trace_ of a Boston accent. I rarely hear a true Boston accent these days...and I went to downtown Boston last night- it took me ten minutes to drive there.
