In loving memory of Ustad Mubarak Ali Khan who sadly passed away on April 8th, 2021. He hailed from Sham Chaurasi gharana and also took inspiration from Indore gharana. More specifically he was a great admirer of Ustad Amir Khan, whom he had never met, yet considered him as his roohani (spiritual) ustad. In the early days of his singing career Mubarak Ali Khan was better known as Mubarak Ali Multani and was a qawwal before he found his real interest and love in singing Khayal and never looked back.

Sad to hear of his passing. Of all the proponents of Sham Chaurasi he was the closest I have heard to those almost unreachable classic recordings of Ustad Salamat and Nazakat Ali Khan. Even the influence of Ustad Amir Khan is evident in his clarity. Another legend lost 🙏🏾
Indeed sir, but ustad g wasn't from sham churasi. He followed indaur gharana.
According to the description, he did belong to the Sham Chaurasia gharana, but also considered Ust. Amir Khan his spiritual Ustad.

Sometimes I feel that Dream Journey is much more better and has got the best selection of Classical Music , as compared to Darbar , it just that it doesn't have good hd cameras but has the best content altotal .

Ustad Mubarak Ali Khan had a rare and dominant voice that he had worked hard on over many years. Always admired how he showed restrain and thehrao in his renditions. He is the ustad and uncle of Akbar Ali and Javed Bashir.

Truly saddened to hear of the Passing of Ustad Mubarak Ali Khan. May Allah rest his soul in eternal peace - Ameen. I have been listening to him for a long time and was very fortunate to hear him live in a Mehfil in Lahore. As many have commented, he was in a different class of classical singers. Sadly we have lost another giant. Thank You Dream Journey team for posting this
