Wow the last part at the tunnel you can see the now premier inn (st marks house tax office!). Whetstone Lane was before House-in decided to blow up! Anyone else remember it? The cars on the video one was a Nissan Sunny plus many other delights. Wish I could time travel

I can remember when the Fire Station used to be on the corner of Whetstone Lane and Borough Road, before they moved to Exmoor Street in the late 1970’s!! Also when Borough Road wasn’t a dual carriageway and there used to be a shop that sold old stamps and coins, in the 1960’s

The music shop on the corner may have been the building that blew up, but I think that was a gas fire shop then. So not really a good advert for their products.

Defo wrong about that shot going up towards McDonald’s, if it was then you would have seen the Silverstrike arcade where the phone box is

2:15 Ignorance was and still is human's kind worst enemy. Seatbelts might not reduce traffic accidents, but in case of one it will prevent people from flying straight through the windscreen....
