My friends and I used to ride our bikes to McGovern Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin during the summer to swim in the pool there. On the way back,we would stop at Dog N Suds for hot dogs and root beer. I miss those days, not having adult responsibilities as we were teenagers yet!
Apparently there was some fascination with burgers and barns going together and salad bars everywhere. Also It was stated Roasters started in the early 1990s what does that have to do with restaurants in the 1970s. I remember going to Farrell’s as a kid! It was fun!
