The Keurig¼ K-Supreme Plusℱ Single Serve coffee maker comes with three levels of strength and three temperature settings and I’ll be testing out the three temperature settings for hot coffee and the temperature of the Iced Coffee button.
The Keurig K-Supreme series comes with Multi-stream technology, which is a first for Keurig. This feature saturates the coffee grounds more evenly as opposed to just in the centre of the K-Pod. This technique extracts full flavor and aroma, so you can enjoy an exceptionally flavorful experience every time you brew.
You can also set your personal settings with the Keurig K-Supreme Plus, whereas this feature does not appear on the K-Supreme model.
There are three levels of temperature settings, however, these are not given by Keurig, so I will be testing these out using different cup sizes.
I also show you how to use the My K-Cup Universal Coffee filter, which can be used with your own choice of fresh coffee beans and even loose leaf tea.
The K-Supreme Plus comes with a 78oz water tank which lets you brew up to 9 cups at 8oz or 13 cups at 6oz.
I have separate videos showing you:
How to use the Water Filter Starter Kit and My K-Cup Universal Coffee Filter: ‱ Keurig Guide: Water Fi...
How to Descale the Keurig K-Supreme coffee maker and How to clean the needles on the Keurig K-Supreme coffee maker.
    ‱ Keurig: How to Descale...
It takes about 55 seconds to brew a 4oz cup of coffee and 60 seconds to brew a 6oz cup of coffee, A 10 oz cup of coffee takes about 90 seconds.
I wasn’t able to get any temperature readings above 161 Degrees Fahrenheit. Ice coffee button does adjust the level of temperature to ensure that the ice doesn’t melt, while also brewing the perfect cup of coffee to be enjoyed over ice!
I also used my Universal K-cup coffee reusable filter to brew tea in the Keurig, and I love that I have this option when I don’t want to have coffee to drink.

Only thing I don't like about that Keurig is that the coffee, when streaming out, splatters all over the counter.

The Keurig "multi-stream technology" is a shameful BIG BOLD LIE and a
DAMN SCAM !!! Although the machine punctures 5 holes into the k-cup -
water comes out from only 1 damn needle and DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to
enhance the flavor in any shape way or form, in fact, the older model Keurig 2.0 makes a much better tastier BOLD cup of coffee !! Keurig LIED on this
so-called "multi-stream technology" just to have people pay more or
replace their older machines and i am looking forward to a CLASS ACTION
      LAWSUIT against Keurig !!!

@@mikefa5891 I COMPLETELY disagree with your whole comment. The multi stream technology is extremely noticeable in taste when compared to the single needle. The water does come out of all 5 needles. This Keurig is so great I had to buy it along side my Braville Precision coffee maker (300 dollars). I can’t say this enough, DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS GUYS COMMENT. The Keurig Supreme Plus is awesome.

I watched this video as I was doing a search on what the '3' temperature settings were supposed to be. I've always felt my coffee was 1) bitter and 2) not hot enough. Finding any literature about the 'actual' temperatures attributed to the settings is like searching for the Ark of the Covenant. I ended up doing my own test on the hottest settings and the 'max' I could get (brewing two cups directly in a row) was 172. For a site that claims the internal is 192 a drop of 20 degrees as the water passes through the coffee into a mug seems excessive. Add milk to your coffee and now it's getting to lukewarm. Based on watching your tests, it seemed that the 'temp' buttons are nothing but show - and I'd expect a marked difference when using them. I also noticed your coffee at the end made that 'whoosh' noise (like a Nespresso does at the end of a brew) and mine doesn't really do that. Perhaps I have a defective pump, but all I really wanted was a strong, hot coffee - and for what I paid for the machine I'm disappointed. Your video just clarified my issues aren't one off. Looks like I'm gonna have to pack it up and return it - maybe downgrade to a single cup maker instead. Sometimes all the fancy bells and whistles that come with something aren't worth it. Maybe they should have used the money they paid James Cordon and Reggie Watts on R&D instead to sort out the kinks. ;P

I agree all for looks i have to throw mine in the microwave for a quick 20 seconds so its not luke warm. One trick i learned is to heat my mug up with hot water from the sink first quickly. That seams to help a bit.

I just bought one of these to replace a 2-year old Keurig that is dribbling when warming water. Luckily I still have that one because the new one would not turn on at all. Called tech support and all they suggested was to try other outlets and make sure a different appliance would turn on when in that outlet. Did all that to no avail. I took it back to the retailer and asked them to plug their replacement one in and show me it was working. They tried that and it also would not turn on, and then the same thing with a second replacement unit! So I took the first one back home and called Keurig again. Again (different person) they required me to follow the same testing steps, and of course nothing helped. So they’ll be sending me a replacement. I asked them to test it themselves before sending it and I got an ambiguous reply. We’ll see what I get! (In case you’re wondering why I’m persisting, I’ve had a few Keurig before and they’ve generally been good. Our first one lasted 7 1/2 years! As well I like the convenience.)

@@ericB3444 That’s what I’ve been doing for months now. I felt comfortable ignoring it for two reasons
 1. It started saying that 5 days after I started using it, so no, it doesn’t need descaling. 2. The water here is fine. Previous machines worked for years without descaling. So it appears this particular model has a bug in it somewhere. Could be software, could be physical. Could be Keurig can’t fix it without replacing the units. So just go ahead and use it.

      @MeemReviews  Pƙed 3 lety +2

You’re welcome and thank you for the comment. I decided against comparing the strength levels because I felt my own personal taste wouldn’t be giving an accurate representation of this feature. If you don’t select a strength, the machine will always default to strength one. There is a noticeable difference in the taste of the coffee strength when you choose level two and three, but again, what may taste strong to me, may not taste as strong to someone else - especially those who are avid coffee drinkers.

I’m going to ask them about the temp since that’s nowhere near the advertised temp. Be sure when taking temps that you do not hold the stem. It will read your temp also and it can lower or raise the measured temps accordingly. Also if you’re not sure about how accurate it is make a glass of half water and half ice. The temp should be exactly 32 degrees. If it’s off rotate the faceplate while holding the nut on the back.

@Eric Brett That is the benefit of multi-stream vs single stream AND the brewers ability to slow down the flow keeping the coffee and hot water together longer. If you really want to get a buzz use a high caffeine specialty roast in the re-useable K cup maxed out, and then use an 8 oz cup, high strength, and high temp. Don’t do this at night! This is my second Keurig Coffee Brewer. czcams.com/users/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf The first one lasted 6 years. It worked beautifully until the day it didn't. It was hard to go back to the drip coffee for a couple of days while I waited on my Keurig to get here. There is a huge difference in the taste. Keurig makes a really good cup of coffee. This new one is a little different from my old one. I find putting the water filter in was easier than on the old one. Attaching the water reservoir was also a little different but once I figured it out, it too was easier. This new one has the auto off feature but is not programmable like the old one. Only three cup sizes instead of four. The odd thing for me was how much lighter in weight this one is compared to my old one. More plastic and much less metal in the construction of this one. The price is so much less than the original Keurig that I bought and the coffee tastes the same so all in all I am satisfied.
