No wonder I've got the sense of humour I have. Hanging around him when I was a child. When he played Dan Kiley's Dance Hall in Ballybunion in the 80s. And my Second cousin Johnny Barrett ( The one & only) rip. What a great childhood I had. I miss them so much.
Loved Brendan Grace seen him in the 1980 in the Hitchen post in leixlip kildare when he was working on a group and did the occasional comedy act. AN ABSOLUTE NATURAL. THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT FUN TIMES
ABSOLUTELY loved this man, I remember as a kid watching him in a play in the gaiety, I've loved his comedic sense of humour ever since, he's sorely missed by all who've seen him... RIP BRENDAN, TRULY A VERY DOWN TO EARTH MAN WHO YOU COULD MEET WALKING IN DUBLIN SOMETIMES.. "GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN "
Totally amazing comedian as a child watching him and knowing then that's entertainment. I would watch reruns from my library on CZcams. ❤from Ireland 🇮🇪 x ⚘️🌈🌎👏 5:42
I taught I was the only one that called the old Bill, garda shickalony. The garda shickalony are now 5ft 2inc and 9 stone in weight I kid you not. Ireland has changed and not for the better many say. 😂☘️
I just discovered Brendan. He is proof you don't have to cuss or swear to be funny. I'm American I have aways enjoyed English humor or English like. I understand he is irish.
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam " Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough !" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment?"
