- Pepper Lunch is a popular Japanese franchise restaurant. Along with serving up their wildly popular Pepper Beef Rice dish, the Pepper Lunch Canada crew, headed by General Manager Denis Sy, has expanded the menu to include pork, chicken, salmon and even gyoza options.

Its actually an electromagnetic cooker and I read in a bio in one of their restaurants that its also patented to them.

@@user-pk3lp2qb7b Yeah. they just put the plate on top of a flat iron stove that doesnt emit any fire. It looked bizzare when I first saw it

I have had pepper lunch in Japan, and this is totally different... pepper lunch is a small place where most ppl are at a bar top, i hope the US doesn't destroy an awesome tradition
That’s just a typical layout for many small Japanese diners. It’s nice and alittle more intimate, but really only makes sense for city venues with limited floor space.
The meat looks raw. Is this how it suppsed to be?
Yes-it comes on an iron plate that's about 260 degrees Celsius! It cooks very quickly, and you can grill the meat to your liking.
