The vent was cut on both those suits. The right is double vent (vents either side) left is single vent (vent in the middle) neither are stitched though.
Was just about to type that...

@@locks4It’s not hard to find a pic like that, just Google it and you’ll get tons of them. To say the least, even if he could’t find a proper pic with no copyright issue, he could have taped the vent of his own jacket to imitate a stitched vent instead of showing a very misleading picture

@@tony_2613 No but a good tailored suit costs quite a lot and if you buy it without really needing it meaning with your disposable income then you have to be earing quite a bit for it to not be a ridiculous purchase.

The previous industry I worked in was rigidly formal. Then one day the CEO announced that all execs remove their ties and that trickled down the ladder and no one in the company wore ties anymore, just suits. It looks good! To the point that I will not wear a ties ever. I will simply go the no tie look

4. Pockets are sewn shut, open before wearing
5. When trying on a suit make sure the shoulders fit and it can be buttoned. A tailor can take in a jacket but usually can’t be let out.
6. Make sure length of jacket is proportional to your height. Shorter men usually want a longer jacket to help elongate. Taller men can opt for a shorter jacket to look more proportional.
7. Lapel width should usually determine type of shirt collar. Lapel width should also be based on face type. Example: a wider chubbier face should not usually choose wide lapels, skinnier lapels will help visually to elongate the face verse a skinnier face type can wear wide lapels to help balance out visually.
8. Never wear a suit off the rack. A cheaper suit that is tailored will always look better than an expensive suit that is not.
9. Things that should be tailored - pants should have the waist, length, and thighs taken in to fit you as an individual. Jacket - waist of jacket to be taken in to fit you, sleeve length tailored so a quarter inch (can vary a tiny bit) of shirt sleeve is shown at any given time as well as sleeves to be tapered from your bicep to your wrist to fit your arms. Tailor all these things and you will look like a million bucks. It can get expensive, depending on the suit my tailor charges around $250 to alter all of the above. Remember a cheap suit tailored looks better than an expensive suit off the rack.

For casual outing Band collar is ok , better buy suit with double vents cause it is way better and it doesn't mess with your lines and shape of the suit when you sit down or when you put your hands inside your pocket

I wear high converse with a suit.Dipped out with class but still feel young and energetic
Tips on buying a suit on the rack.
-Look how the shoulders fit you. You don't want extra fabric, it's too big. If your deltoid/tricep sticks out too much, the jacket to small.
-Button the upper button (NEVER THE LOWEST BUTTON) you should be available to at least get your hand in between, then it's a good fit.
-if you try one with a dress shirt, look at your neck. Is there a gap there, the suit ain't for you. It should be align perfectly with your neck without extra fabric or the "neck gap"
These are key pointa to look for if you're going of the rack. Tailors can do magic with their hands but these are the hardest.
As a suit wearer, I have never seen someone still have the logotype left on, and I hope it will keep that way. Also, rules are meant to be broken, but not having a tie is a fashion rule. Meaning it's more up to the occasion or mood. the same goes for boots. It's also fun to see a little personality. I'm an classic Italian style fan and I think you always should show one inch of your dress shirt around your wrists.

Pockets on pants are sewn shut too and are often times functional. Just find where the thread is loose and open the pocket like an envelope or get a threat cutting tool.
