- Building spiritual discipline in our lives is something admirable, but it's also one of the hardest things to do. So here are 5 tips for how you can build better spiritual habits.
How to obtain spiritual discipline:
1. Find a spiriteacher (0:21)
2. Find study bros (2:12)
3. Find a spiritual battle (4:11)
4. Start or focus on a good habit (5:14)
5. End or refrain from a bad habit (6:33)
Remember whom you're fighting for: Jesus!

My 2 main takeaways is Community and Fasting. Have people who can encourage you and hold you accountable. Fast from things that are taking your time and devotion from God or plans and use that time to do what you need

Though I'm 52 years of age I have a church mentor and it doesn't matter because we all have learning and growing to do while on this earth. We all need someone to help us while we're here. And we can do the same for others even for our mentors because we all learn from each other. My greatest mentor is my Lord, Savior, Abba Father and God Jesus Christ. I am extremely undisciplined, I had my life handed to me, and I make poor decisions. That stops today. I have a mentor already and a great group of Christian friends to invest in, however I am hanging onto my past which is killing me. This video may be the start of a major turnaround and if it is, it will be the greatest thing to ever happen in my Christian walk.

The balance between finding a habit and finding a sacrifice spoke volumes to me. It's not just about adding good habits but also about letting go of the things that pull us away from God.
being in a discipleship group has really helped me immensely in my walk with Christ! Can't stress this enough. Jesus, Himself, modeled to us to disciple. We should not and cannot walk alone in this journey. Pray for the right people whom you can be accountable with❤

I like when he talks about having a marathon mentality and taking small steps in creating better new habits. I prayed and had a mindset to take short cuts but I heard God reveal to me, when growing a plant you don’t pour all the water on it at once, you water it day by day for it to grow more.

I will advise you identify those things that easily distract you, then you remove them or put a limit to it.
Have a time table or a to-do list it will really help you to be focused and achieve your goals.

Something like this needs a practical method to be free..
It's not just avout prayer alone, it's about what you do after praying..
What are the contents of the things you see? Movies..? Browsing sites? Pictures..?
If this things are filthy or contains a touch of filth like immoral scenes, surely you'll be bound by the things you're trying to escape from..
Clear your phones from things like this, stay away from certain kind of movies that can stir up these things, watch what your eyes feeds on, instead spend more time reading your Bible and getting clean..
What of the places you go? Do you go to places where the people around you talk dirty things or do dirty things?
Do you have dirty kind of conversations with people?
Stop hanging out with those kind of people, stop being in places where you'll be tempted to listen to those kinds of conversation..
Rather, work time more around godly people that their words have been seasoned with salt.
Above all..
Have a good relationship with God which comes from having to hear God daily from your Bible and people that preached the true gospel..
Be intentional about getting free..

This video just popped out of nowhere when I needed it most. I was sliding back to a bad habit (online game) then this video found me. Also I was assigned to mentor somebody in our group so this video really hits the spot. I don't see the wind or where it came from but I see the leaves moving. I see them moving alright.
Discipline is a fruit of the spirit… this revelation changed everything for me. Pray for discipline and self-control. Gal. 5:19-23
Talk about a sign. I have started praying for discipline every day for the past few months.
So true and needed brother last week I had decided to be on 40 day walk with God without any distractions and fully focus on loving HIM and serving people but end of this week I felt I was failing but this renewed my strength and now I will push through till I am at the end of these 40days thank you brother and praise God for putting this in your heart

Man, I really want to say from the bottom of my heart that I'm very thankful for God showing me this today.
I come from a background where I suffered with the sin of lust and being into pornography heavily until I made the decision to get saved and really try to dedicate my life to Christ as much as possible. I hate to say that nowadays I sometimes still struggle with the past of lust and not loving people correctly and being tempted into slipping again, but I needed to see this today as a reminder that God loves me no matter what and is willing to help me become better as I'm willing to let him and I'm thankful that God loves a sinner such as me. Please for those who see this comment, please pray for my walk with God to become stronger and as well as my discipline.
